FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been dancing my entire life. I was doing shows, festivals and competitions when I was kid (both as a musician and dancer). There was never a point I "got into it" - I can't remember a time I was not dancing in my life. In essence, I just never really stopped. I was performing when I was 8, went professional at 16, won the world championship at 23... And here I am :)
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Fire Shows, Luaus, Weddings, Educational Programs at Libraries/Museums, Dance Workshops, World Dance Lectures/Presentations, All Occasion Entertainment and Themed Events.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring entertainment, it is very important to remember to keep in mind your space requirements and ask about insurance when working with fire and sharp objects (such as swords). Also, make sure that the entertainment you are hiring has good press, testimonials and videos (very important) so you know exactly what it is that you are getting and the quality you are getting it at before you hire. Particularly important events such as weddings, etc, you want to make sure you are hiring a real professional.
