We hired Roger to build a wood playset in our backyard. He was on time, very professional and did a very clean job. It took him about 8-9 hours to build the playset but he made sure that the playset was secure and safe for the kids. We are so pleased with his work and his professionalism. We will definitely use him again for other projects. And...he has the best price!

We had Jon come out and had his great crew of carpenters and painters to make our house look like new. They had to replace the back wall of our garage and replace the wood trim around the garage door. Marvin who does the carpentry and stucco work did a great job. Painter also did a great job. There were a few little hick ups a long the way and they were dealt with professionalism and were quick in fixing. I have very high standard with jobs should be done and until this project I have never been happy with any contractor that has come through here, until Jon came. Jon is on the top of my contractors list in my phone and Marvin will be doing our bedroom ceiling at some point. I would highly recommend Jon and his crew. They get a a++++++.

I wanted to replace the ceiling of my patio because it was made of corrugated aluminum and it was falling apart. Scott answered my project on Thumbtack, asked me for pictures and dimensions and was able to give me a very quick, accurate and more than reasonable quote for the entire job. He came over and took off the existing ceiling, and got rid of all the trash. He came in on another day to install the ceiling and he did a perfect job. Thank you Scott for a job very well done. Finally found a contractor I can trust.

Brilliant workmanship from Dave. I love the work he did on my new bathroom. He even had suggestions for the floor as I was undecided. His resin floor product he but down for me is stunning. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you

Robert repaired a wood fence that was rotting along its base due to years contact with the soil, moisture and weather. He also installed a thermostat controlled garage fan to vent out heat during the summer. He stopped by to survey the work and provided me a written quote. Outstanding work on both projects and completed them as promised. I would definitely hire him again for any future jobs.

Figueroa's Painting did a professional painting job at a reasonable rate. His quote included minor repairs needed to the wood siding, professional prep work covering windows, straight lines where there was a change of color. After only 3 days, my house now looks great.

I was fortunate to have hired aDroit for my IKEA Furniture Assembly project. He was hired to put together a new piece from IKEA, a rather difficult display cabinet. ADroit was proficient, efficient and a perfectionist.. Just the way I like it!! He followed the assembly instructions perfectly. The result was a perfectly put together piece. Nothing was amis. All the parts fit together perfectly and my display cabinet is just perfect! Adroit was easy to deal with, well spoken, intelligent and very helpful. Not to mention tolerant and patient. He moved the piece twice to accommodate me when I was not sure where I wanted it to be.

I selected Mr. Agustin De Avila's quote after receiving 4 quotes from Thumbtack Handymen. The job was a simple rebuild of a 30' section of sagging/deteriorating wood fencing on property line with my neighbor. The job included removal and disposal of old wooden fence, installation of new fence and any necessary adjustments to gates. I hired Agustin on Tuesday the 16th of August. He started and completed the job on Thursday the 18th. We had agreed to have him begin the job at 8am on the 18th. He was actually 15 minutes early. He was well prepared with all supplies and necessary tools and was done by 4pm. I was able to view the progress of his work from demolition of old fence to adjustments of gates. Agustin had no problem with explaining, as he worked, why he was doing what he was doing. He was very detailed, knowledgable and careful in his work. Agustin's attention to details shows in the beautiful new fence. In addition, Agustin left the area cleaner than when he had started the job. I would have absolutely no problem recommending Mr. Agustin De Avila to anyone needing work done by an honest, qualified and extremely dependable handyman.

Let us start by saying that Dave is not only a great general contractor but is more importantly an old-school craftsman. We wanted to totally remodel our kitchen and interviewed a couple of contractors, including Dave. What impressed us most was amount of time, effort, and attention to detail that Dave put into our remodel BEFORE a contract was even presented and agreed upon. Dave met with us on three separate occasions before we formally agreed to engage his services, and each of those meetings lasted more than two hours. Dave's proposal for the remodel was 6 pages long and included every detail as what he would be doing and how he would proceed with the job. Dave covered every detail of his proposal with us and answered every one of our questions. The contract was also detailed and contained a payment schedule that was based upon him completing various stages of the remodel. We had no "buyer's remorse" after we signed that contract since it was clear to us that Dave would do an outstanding job on the remodel. Here are some very important facts for those of you who have had dealings with contractors: (a) Dave told us when the job would start, how long it would take to complete, and the times he would show up and wrap it up for the day. He was true to his word on all of his promises; (b) Dave and his assistant (Rick) do all of the work themselves - with the exception of the fabrication and installation of stone countertops - but don't worry because Dave's stone guy (Ciro) is also top notch. Dave and Rick do the tear out, plumbing, electrical, gas lines, cabinet installation, and the installation of appliances. Nothing is subbed out. And Dave was present for the entire remodel. And not only does Dave do the entire job, he does it with a care, attention to detail, and a precision that is often times lacking in today's contractors. Dave followed the plan he presented to us and the new kitchen unfolded before our eyes. (c) At the end of each day Dave and Rick cleaned up their work area with great care and stored their tools so that nothing was in our way. This was huge for us because we've seen other remodels where the entire house is an unlivable mess and disaster area. We couldn't recommend Dave more. He did the job with great care to quality and detail, he was friendly and approachable, and took the time to explain what he was doing so that there would be no surprises. Dave followed up on the smallest details and took care of everything so that when the kitchen was done it was beautiful and ready to use without any issues.

John Mcminn did driveway and garage, cement replacement work for me. Excellent work, arrived on time, finished on time and on budget. There was some slight damage to the surface of the garage due to the impact drill on breaking up of the floor but John repaired this with no hassle. Would highly recommend and use again on future projects.

Had a difficult siding project, too small for the big shops to touch. Not only did John do a wonderful job, he also added a few little architectural details that really make the project pop.
