- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My pricing system is not complicated. If you would like to get an accurate quote I need to know: 1. How many guests you have 2. What type of meats and side dishes you would like to serve your guests 3. Date, time, and location of your event 4. If you have a budget, that is good to know also. Then I can put together an accurate quote for you most times on the phone. ***Meat and side information can be found on my website.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I read all the time and search out new developments and methods on how to do great BBQ. In this business, experience is the best teacher. Every cook is different, depending on whether the cuts and sizes of meats you are using and also clients preferences. There really is an artistic side to all this and that is the part that makes this interesting and enjoyable.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?This is something I love to do and have been doing for the last 20 years, mostly in charity work. Last year we decided to open a catering business in the hopes that it would take us out of our sixty to seventy hour a week jobs, and put us in a better position, to do more of the charity work we really enjoy doing.
