Introduction: There is no "one size fits all" option in True Body Fitness. Because each client is different, so is each workout even during training classes. We modify and challenge as needed so all clients are successful with reaching their goals. We specialize in: 1. Fitness training from beginners with no previous exercise experience to recreational athletes. 2. Men and women with limitations: previous injury/post rehab (with doctor clearance if needed), obesity, auto-immune disorders and cancer patients and survivors (with doctor clearance). 3. Weightlifting for weight loss and physique change. 4. Nutrition coaching 5. Kettlebell training We enjoy not only helping our clients meet their goals, but also to help them overcome the obstacles that stand in their way. Kathy's favorite saying is, "it's about progress not perfection".

Ok so I was the girl everyone hated because I could eat anything and never gain weight. My mom always warned me that when I would approach 40 it would all change. Well I'm not there yet but I noticed I needed a workout to drop a few inches and remain lean. Kathleen started training us at old world about 8 months ago. In those 8 months I have built up an inner strength I didn't even know existed. I don't get that afternoon sleepiness any more and I am abundance of energy. I feel great and my New Years resolution is not only to do my work out but eat better to get even better results. Kathleen has made this all possible. She is so sweet, yet firm. She keeps her workouts fun and you never know what to expect. She is an excellent teacher, coach and has become a great friend through all of this. Our squad of girls working out always enjoy more friends and we look forward to see what other creative, fun workouts Kathleen has in store for 2014!!!!

Kathy Gotz of True Body Fitness is one of the smartest and most professional fitness trainers I’ve ever had the luck to meet! After a few disasters with some less educated and knowledgeable members of her profession, Kathy was able to get me safely weigh-lifting again after a two-year injury recovery hiatus. I would not be lifting again at my pre-injury weights were it not for Kathy’s advice, precision and ability to teach form. Her commitment to break down each specific movement of a lift and translate that to me has been invaluable. She is a true professional and her fitness knowledge is a goldmine for any woman who needs to get fit safely and sanely. I give her my highest recommendation!

Kathy is just what the Dr. ordered...literally! After a lengthy and complicated battle with breast cancer it was time to take charge of my health again and Kathy has helped me do just that. She has created a custom, dynamic workout plan that caters to my strengths and challenges my weaknesses which is exactly what I need. In the past six weeks I have not done the same workout twice which keeps me motivated to see what's next! In addition, Kathy's nutritional knowledge has led me to make excellent food decisions each and everyday. She has helped me balanace my busy life and my nutritional needs. However, the best part of teaming up with Kathy is the beauty of the network of women she has introduced me to through her True Body Fitness Transformation Challenge. Everything is easier with a community of strong, dedicated women at your side. Kathy has helped me find my inner athlete again and she can help you find yours too!!!

Personal Training Services Before I started training with Kathy Gotz at True Body Fitness, I was not exercising AT ALL. I had very low energy (which is probably not surprising) and low motivation. I used to have a membership at a gym but I hated working out in a place where I did not know anyone and where no one held me accountable. Since I started training with Kathy Gotz in December 2016, I have more energy and find that I really enjoy her workouts. It feels good to sweat and to challenge myself. I participated in the True Body Fitness Transformation Challenge which began on January 23, 2017 and ended today, February 18, 2017. It has been a wonderful experience. Kathy taught us to keep food journals and it really opened my eyes with respect to what I was putting in my body. Her nutrition workshops encouraged me to cook for the first time in my new apartment as well as make better choices about what I eat. I lost four pounds and have a slimmer waist thanks to this Challenge. If you are on the fence about personal training, try True Body Fitness. It is not only affordable, but a great investment in your health and well being. I love that Kathy encourages you to work hard without ever making you feel guilty for the occasions when you may not have made the best choices with respect to your diet or fitness outside of the gym.
