Clifford is a talented jazz pianist but also a wonderful instructor .He teaches comprehensive piano- jazz, classical and music theory. He makes learning music fun. Some lessons we listen and learn from the masters- such as Bill Evans. Other lessons we play tunes together. Learning music is a long journey- but well worth it.
Neil is so encouraging and enthusiastic. I have a lot of fun at my lessons and he always pushes me. When I think I can't do something Neil says, "Just keep doing it! You're creating neural pathways" and that's always a good reminder for me to be patient with myself. Drumming is something I always dreamed of doing and his support and patience is helping me meet this goal!
Started going for violin lessons (I'm in my 20's with no music background). Had only a couple of classes so far. I really like the pace and her style of teaching. She is professional and very easy to work with.
My boys are enjoying their lessons and having fun. Andi is patient, kind and inspires my boys to do their best.
Garrick is very patient and engaging with our 7yo son. Our son loves his guitar lessons and wants to play. He's the real deal with his own gigs and he teaches using music we love. Garrick gets 5 stars because he unexpectedly requested to join us when we purchased our guitar, picked an appropriate used(!) one with metal strings and had it modified to bring the frets in closer for small fingers. His lessons feel customized. We recommend Garrick!
Meg is amazing teacher--inspiring, kind, ambitious, creative, patient. Most of all, she is absolutely passionate about helping her students love the piano. I feel so blessed and lucky to have found Meg for our daughter. I am an educator myself, and I have very high standards. Meg is absolutely top notch.
Stella has been a wonderful teacher! I've never taken any sort of music lessons and was worried about starting lessons as an adult. I came across Stella after looking through many websites and am glad I did. Stella is extremely patient and encouraging throughout the sessions. I can't tell you how many times I mess up in an hour and she always tends to find something good to say about what I've done. I really enjoy taking lessons with her and would recommend her to anyone needing a supportive and knowledgeable teacher.
David Williams has given guitar lessons to our son for many years. We have the highest regard for his teaching and his overall positive influence. David is a highly talented musician and a gifted teacher. Our son has great respect for David's musical knowledge and his thoughtful mentoring--and we do as well. David provides very sound guidance and also works to help students achieve their own specific musical goals. David is a great person and a very fine teacher, and we're pleased to give him our highest recommendation.
I love going to voice/piano lessons every week! Sarah has taught me so much in the couple months i've been with her - i have a much stronger and overall better voice than before i started lessons. It's also very fun just in general to go every week:)
Been singing for many years and surprised to still be learning so much. Juan is quite professional and disciplined. He identifies where you need work and starts with fundamentals. You can't fake it with him; he'll know! I recommend going into it with a clear goal and he'll design a program for you.
Prior to my time with Ms. Laura, I had taken four years of piano lessons and had extremely disliked playing the piano. Ms. Laura changed that, and now I love playing the piano. She has helped me develop my piano skills so that I can play any piece of music I want. Not only does Laura make good suggestions of music to practice, she is fine with me working on pieces I have an interest in learning to play. For the past 5 years, I have always looked forward to going to my piano lessons because Ms. Laura is energetic, supportive and very easy to talk to. And she has cats! She is a piano teacher I definitely recommend.
I started taking lessons from Toby in January 2017. I am an adult student that returned to piano lesson after decades. I stopped lessons at 13 y/o. Without lessons, I can read music and "play" the song. But now, with just a few months into my lessons with Toby, I can hear the difference. My songs now have the correct timing, tempo and spirit the composer intended for his songs. What a difference! My husband now recognizes the songs I play. Thanks Toby!
I can't say enough about my experience with Ken. He is very intuitive. His lessons are balence between exercises and therory. I have alway found myself mentally stimulated, with plenty of work for my fingers. He is very energetic and reaches out between lessons to give you more music to play with. His warm and friendly personality make the lessons fly by. He also willing to work through tought topics without cutting the lesson short (schedule permitting ). I really appreciate his effort into his students. He has also been pretty flexible with my shedule. As an adult these are not the piano lessons I hated as a child. Lol
Sedat is an excellent teacher for my 10 year old. He has lots of patience and knows how to teach kids. He is able to help with easier ways to teach chords and makes the class enjoyable. My child loves his class and he encourages to pick their favorite songs to play. I would highly recommend Sedat for kids guitar lessons.
I went to Andre having absolutely zero knowledge of drums or any musical instrument what-so-ever. He's very nice and has made me feel comfortable about my skill level. He's definitely very knowledgeable and very encouraging about your progress. He really wants to help you out. I have a lot of fun at his lessons and they seem to just fly by. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to learn the drums.
I've had 3 one hour lesdons with Denis so far. He's been very patient with my slowness since I'm a beginner and can't really read music. He's been very creative in teaching me how to read music and showing me how to move my fingers on the strings. He's very knowledgeable when I ask about the historic guitarists such as Francisco Tarrega and Andre Segovia and many others that I like. Denis is a great teacher and I've signed my 21 year old son up with him to learn to read music and play classical, acoustic and electric styles. He's had many years of experience with all ages. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family, adults and children that maybe interested in learning music! Guitar is the way to go because you can carry it with you wherever you go! :-))
I enjoyed how Alison interacted with my children in teaching the guitar and piano.not only was she professional, knowledgable, but she made the lessons enjoyable. My children look forward to their lessons & I would reccomend her wholeheartedly
Eteri is a very patient and experienced teacher. My son really likes her and loves her sweet personality. She understands and supports each student's own style and learning pattern and tries hard to bring out the best in the student. Piano is a difficult instrument to study and many people lose interest over time. However, Eteri manages to keep the lessons fun and keep the students' interest up. I highly recommend Eteri for students of all levels!
Run don’t walk to sign up with Joe LaRos. Joe LaRose is a true professional as he was trained at the Berkley School of Music in Boston. He is dedicated to his craft and was able to easily engage and get my teenage son and quickly garnered my son’s respect and admiration. Don't let the location of his studio worry you... it brings humility anf focus on the music, and I was welcomed to stay and wait if I wanted to. My son rapidly gained confidence in his skills and tried out for the Bellarmine symphonic and percussion musical ensembles. He also started a band and helped write and arrnage most of the music by his band “The Cautious”. Their song, “Surface” has 47k listens on Spotify and it was selected to be in the trailer of a Warner Brothers movie. Needless to say music is a huge part of his life and Joe LaRose was instrumental in fueling his interest and confidence in music. I recommend Joe without any hesitation Best-BSH
Jaymee is great with kids! She has improved our daughter's self-esteem and fosters a great environment where the kids respect and support each other.
Excellent lessons in music theory and practice!
