When Dada speaks it's powerful and he has a vast knowledge of the vedic scriptures. Despite their antiquity they are relevant to modern day woes.Dec 27, 2017
Dada is a very inspiring speaker. His wisdom and years of honed experience shine through in his authentic style. I will definitely be inviting Dada for more speaking engagements and highly recommend him.Apr 28, 2017
He is a true inspiration and also charming, funny, and gracious.Jun 22, 2018The Monk Dude Speaks's reply
Thanks for saying that Mark!
I have seen Dada give many talks and Q&A's, and they are always humorous and accessible while being very insightful! I especially like the ones on creativity and play :)Apr 28, 2017
Dada Nabhaniilananda, also known as "The Monk Dude", enriched my own meditation practice by sharing easy-to-follow techniques that I hadn't been aware of before. There's nothing like having the personal experience of sharing a live talk with Dada Nabhaniilananda to really learn more about meditation. His talks are filled with joy and music! And I've read dozens of books on meditation before, but his own book "Close Your Eyes and Open Your Mind: A Practical Guide to Spiritual Meditation" is the best I've read. I'm looking forward to being part of more of his presentations! Ernesto A.Apr 28, 2017
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer keynotes, workshops, retreats and coaching. For coaching my pricing starts at $120 ph. For keynotes it varies depending on several variables. It reflects my extensive professional experience, but is not astronomical, and I make allowances for non-profits, educational institutions etc. My agent conducts these discussions on my behalf.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I have an agent who manages my speaking career, so after an initial conversation with customers I introduce them to her. She's much better at this part than me, believe me. And she's nice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Acarya (spiritual teacher and meditation teacher) Senior Acarya (as above, but better) NSA (National Speakers Association) Pro-Track training. Ten years being coached in writing, which resulted in two books, one non-fiction, one fiction. Plus a ton of articles. My writing mentor tells me that a good book should be considered the equivalent of a Master's Degree. He should know, he has one. 56 years playing music, including extensive stage work in front of audiences of up to 10,000 people. I can think of no better preparation for a stage presenter.
