The five sessions that I took were very good and well organized. Elizabeth provides lot of examples to practice. The hints were really helpful. It was a very good experience for me. In addition to learning how to pronounce words from Elizabeth's sessions, I have also started to pay more attention to how others pronounce words. It was an important thing that Elizabeth stresses in her sessions.

I am a CFA from China. I used to learn English pronunciation from Elizabeth in LA. She is a very experienced teacher specialized in accent reduction. Her students are from various countries and background. She understands the exact English pronouncing difficulties caused by different mother tongue. Actually she is also a great singer. So she has profound and professional knowledge about pronunciation theory and vocal practice. Her class is very helpful and interesting. I hope more students could have chances to take her classes.

I was working with Elizabeth on removing my strong Russian accent. She is a great teacher who did a marvelous job! She really cares about her students and goes an extra mile to help them with their language problems. I highly recommend you to make use of her exceptional abilities to teach!

Hi, I am a French actress and I had a thick accent wich prevented me from being understood when i speak english.Since I'm working with her i made huge enonciation progress.I'm being understood and I reduced my speed speech. she is patient, clear in her explanations and honest so you can really progress. She is a singer with acting background and so she is very specific with the script. Not only she helps me get the American stadard accent but understand my character too. Finally she is always willing to help and give you feedback on your work (auditions tape)for FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!! I really recommend her especially for Europeans because she knows our language, melody and patterns !!

I have been working with Elizabeth for several months now, with 2 sessions every month. I have had several ESL teachers in the past but honestly she is definitely the best so far without a doubt. What's great about her is that she can correct your accent in a more broad way, not just correcting a few words here and there. I work for a small software company and have to talk to customers sometimes. Being Japanese, my English was pretty "flat" so to speak with very little intonation, very boring and tiring to listen to for native speakers. That's one of the areas that I have been working on with Elizabeth. I have gained a lot more confidence when I have conference calls after working with her for a while. Yes, she is expensive :), I have never had to pay even half of what she charges but you know what they say, "you get what you pay for" definitely applies in this case and she is worth every penny. My only regret is that I didn't know her when I was younger :( It would have been even more useful but hey, it's never too late right ? Anyway I highly recommend her if you are trying to reduce accent !!

I have been working with Elizabeth on my accent reduction for a while, and I can hear my progress with every lesson. I started in August 2012, I have my lessons weekly. She is my guide and a miracle worker. Once I started my lessons it was really hard for me to pronounce certain sound. In few weeks I understood what was wrong with my pronunciation, in few months I was able to hear and correct myself, which I believe is an amazing progress. Now, I believe I came close to being a true American English speaker and my goal is to be one. Nobody asks me where I'm from. Everyone can reach that with a teacher like Elizabeth and hard work. Apart from her knowledge she is very patient, interesting and knows how to lead her students through the path of American English speaking. If you want to trust somebody with the personal thing like that, go with Elizabeth and you will be 100% satisfied.

I worked with Elizabeth to improve my English accent for two months. I found Elizabeth to be very proficient in her accent coaching by designing a customize program and deploying several professional tactics targeting specific areas that I needed to improve for my profession. She made every session fun and creative. She could discover my core problems and was so talented in explaining and helping me to overcome the pronunciation problems within a short period of time. I would recommend her to anyone who seeks humility, professional, and effective English speaking coach who can deliver exceptional results.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A few years ago a woman came to me for accent reduction coaching, because she wanted to apply for a promotion. (She wanted to go from manager to vice president of her department.) She was told that her communication skills (her accent and the speed with which she spoke) needed to be improved if she were to be considered for the job. She was determined to get this promotion. We recorded every lesson, she studied and practiced incredibly patiently and diligently. It wasn't easy for her, because she had been in this country for many years, and her habits were deeply ingrained. But she persisted. And she got the job! Beating out the favorite contender, a much younger American man (native speaker)! I was so proud of her, and of our work together! This is one of my all time favorite success stories.
