- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base rate for a resume is $50.00 and cover letter is $40.00. This includes a custom stationary design and composition. This covers a standard 10 day turnaround. If you would like a rush turnaround (2-3 days), there is an additional $15.00 fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing I always do is make time to have a conversation with a professional to discuss their goals for their job search and their past experience. It is always helpful if the professional has a specific job description in mind. From there, I begin to craft a resume and cover letter that fits their needs. I will always send drafts and updates on progress, and will not consider a project complete until the professional is happy with the product.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that they are in it for you and your development, and that they are looking out for your specific needs. Each job search is unique, as is each customer, so a cookie cutter resume or cover letter will not get the same results as something that is specifically tailored to you. Look for someone who will take the time to get to know you and your goals for your career. Someone who is interested in seeing you succeed.
