I cannot say enough good things about Jessica and 3 Little Birds Event Planning! She is an absolute master at what she does!! She offers complete, 1 month, and day-of wedding planning, as well as all sorts of event planning, i.e. baby showers, parties, etc. I went with "Day-Of" and Jessica went above and beyond, helping with various steps in my planning process. She was always easy to reach and responded promptly with any and all questions that I had. She constructed the wedding timeline and offered dozens of suggestions to make our day truly special and perfect. 3 Little Birds also offers party rentals at very competitive prices, including a client discount! Needless to say, I ended up renting what I needed from them. Jessica and Dustin did such a fantastic job! Our venue decor was perfectly set-up, with every detail carefully though out. They made our day run smoothly and practically stress-free. Jessica was there every step of the way and took care of any issues as they arose. She made sure all formalities were done as we wanted them, directed our wedding photographer, attended to us personally, made sure our vendors were paid and tipped, and even stayed around afterwards to help break down the rentals. All in all, our wedding was pure magic and it was all thanks to Jessica, Dustin, and 3 Little Birds Event Planning. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family for all future events.

Jessica and Dustin are AMAZING, hands down the best wedding planners we could have hired for our wedding and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them. These two truly, truly love what they do, and the fact that they both went through planning their own wedding together speaks millions to their work chemistry. All of my friends, family, and other vendors who interacted with Jessica and Dustin had the same experience - they are wise, quick on their feet, detail oriented, and kind while still keeping everyone in line when needed. By the end of the night, we felt like Jessica was a part of our family. My biggest regret of the wedding was not hiring Jessica and Dustin earlier on in the planning. We hired 3LB as day of coordinators, but it is sooo worth having Jessica and Dustin around to help make decisions throughout the process. They are SO skilled at what they do, will take on any challenge you throw at them, and from the moment I spoke to Jessica, I knew I could trust her with everything. I am so beyond grateful to have found Jessica and Dustin, and am looking forward to the next family member to get married so I can work with them again!

I found 3 Little Birds on Thumbtack and instantly fell in love with the way Jessica and Dustin communicated and worked with me and my fiancé! We hired them as day of wedding planners and got an initial meet &a greet, timeline meeting, wedding rehearsal and the day of. Here's what makes them 5 stars. Dustin is an absolute gem and has the creative view to help pull the wedding day together. He used bridesmaid bouquets as extra decor, reused ceremony flowers for the reception and helped with every detail including me asking him to move some things around when they didn't look exactly how I pictured them. He checked in throughout the night and was amazing! Jessica is everything you could ever want in a wedding planner and she is absolutely wonderful. Organized. Thorough. Great communication. But honestly the entire wedding day and night she kept asking me and my husband if needed anything. She bustled my dress for me, brought us appetizers and drinks and honestly made me feel like a princess. I had no worries the entire night! I hired Sierra Madre to cater a come-and-go brunch for close friends and out-of-town guests the morning after my daughter’s wedding. Initially I was concerned about travel time from Monrovia to my home in the Larchmont area of Los Angeles, but Tonya (owner-chef) assured me she would allow for all eventualities and be there with plenty of time to set up and be ready before the guests arrived. The menu was mimosas, orange juice, lox, bagel & cream cheese (with the usual trimmings), vegetarian omelets, pancakes, cut fruit, and sour cream coffee cake, coffee and tea. Everything turned out perfect! Tonya and her assistant, Chris, were at my house early, got set up and were ready to go before the guests started arriving. The food was wonderful. The on-the-spot food, pancakes and omelets, were outstanding; and Tonya’s sour cream coffee cake was a BIG hit. The guests loved everything. The only glitch was an under estimation of how much lox, bagels and cream cheese the guests would consume. Fortunately, I had anticipated that could happen and had an extra 60 ounces of lox on hand and an extra pint of cream cheese, and we have two bagel shops within walking distance. Tonya was great to work with and having her cater made my life so much easier. It was a beautiful brunch, within my budget, and I am thankful that I took the chance on hiring her company as I had relied solely on the Thumbtack reviews when I made the choice. I’ll definitely use Sierra Catering again. The only suggestion I might make is that more attention be paid to the serving dishes used. Mixing bowls really aren’t attractive bowls to put on the buffet table.

I decided to look for a caterer for my Mom's celebration of life and my internet search lead me to Thumbtack. After inputting my needs I quickly received a response back from Tonya at Sierra Madre Catering with a detailed quote and attached menu. When I called to speak with Tonya I immediately got a good vibe from her voice. She seemed excited and eager to help plan our event and made me feel comfortable that everything would be taken care of. I am so thankful I decided to use Sierra Madre for my event. We ordered appetizers and desserts and they arrived and set everything up, brought their own trash cans and kept the tables clean as people were done eating. The staff was professional and nice and their food was DELICIOUS! Many of our guests gave feedback that the food was great and they even ran out of business cards because a lot of people were interested in having their info. At such a difficult time with the passing of a loved one, these details are important but not ones you want to worry about yourselves and Tonya and Sierra Madre staff took that burden off my shoulders and I am so thankful for that. I will recommend them to anyone in need of a caterer for any event and if I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would!! Thank you Tonya and Sierra Madre Catering!!

Overall our experience was fantastic. The staff was amazing. They were very tentative and friendly to all guests at our baby shower. Despite a few hiccups with the venue the staff made it work while maintaining a positive attitude, even going as far as slaving out in the hot sun preparing omelets to order. It's been almost two days since our event and guests are still raving about how great the food and service was. BEST EVENT PLANNER, HANDS DOWN!!!! I hired Ingrid and her team last minute for decorations and event planning for a work party. By far, the best decision I've ever made. My wedding is in August, and I've went along and hired her for that event as well. She's proficient, efficient, and a visionary!! Her ideas are so thoughtful and personally organized! I am so impressed with her work and her expertise. She never ceased to amaze me. I got so many compliments on her flower arrangements and decorations that for so perfectly with the theme. I can't wait to see what she's got up her sleeve for my wedding in August. Also, this wasn't the first time I've hired Ingrid for an event. I hired her back in November 2015 for my MIL 50th birthday party. She is very very very very talented, kind and most especially patient with me! I recalled adding, removing, changing so many things we have on our contract but she was very kind enough to accept my requests. I live in Vancouver and had to plan my sister's baby shower in LA. When Thumbtack came back to me with 5 options for event planners, I started making calls. Christina was the 3rd person I spoke to and I knew right away that she was who we wanted to work with. First of all, Christina is incredibly kind and thoughtful. She just has this tone to her that really made me feel comfortable and made me trust that she would take what we had envisioned for our sister's baby shower and make it happen. That took a lot of the stress of planning an event off of my shoulders. She listened to everything we wanted...every single detail. She made suggestions where we needed them and was quick to respond to emails, calls and texts. She's a GREAT communicator. She made my bouquet and my two bridesmaids' bouquets, my flower girl's floral crown, my sweetheart table swag (which was SO amazing, but not pictured here. Susan from Eventive Moments was our wedding coordinator for our 9/30/17 wedding in Pasadena. We do not have enough amazing things to say about her, but will try to be as helpful to others in this review. Susan was the following to us, 1. Organized, detail-oriented, punctual, experienced -- Her experience shows as she she kept us on track during the planning of our wedding, did not overlook any details, and was there for everything (rehearsal, setting up, cleaning up, etc.). 2. Professional and proactive -- Susan went above and beyond in the planning and day-of. A lot of things went off track at the wedding (none being her fault) like the caterers running late, the fire alarm going off, the EMCEE being clueless, however, NONE of the guests had ANY idea!! Every challenge that came up, Susan handled it gracefully and immediately. This is because Susan remained professional, calm, collected, and thought fast on her feet to improvise and get everything back in order without a hair out of place. 3. Creative and generous -- Not only did Susan keep all the big ticket items in line, but she was a tremendous help to us with smaller items, too, like party favors, seating charts, photos, and decor. She did not hesitate to help us print the seating chart or photos when we panicked two nights before and told her we didn't have time. She's incredibly crafty and creative, so everything she worked on was beautiful. 4. Talented -- Susan made sure the venue was set up immaculately. Everything looked beautiful and our guests were raving. She pays close attention to what you have envisioned and nails it. 5. Trustworthy, Kind, Passionate -- From the first phone call, we knew we wanted to hire Susan because you can tell she is passionate about her work and we felt immediate trust that she would do everything she could for us to make the day perfect. She is so kind and caring, and listens. She will go out of her way for you because she cares. When I start thinking about planning for my wedding, like all the other bride-to-be in this world, I panicked. There is simply SO MUCH THINGS that you need to consider. Why does wedding need to be so hard and complicated? So, I was enthusiastically looking for a vendor who can provide this service, and guess what? I found this amazing vendor called Eventive Moments. At first, I was worried because it’s my first wedding and I wanted everything to be perfect. I showed my concerns to them, and one of the coordinator was a newlywed and she told me about her experiences, very up-to-trend, and communicated with me a lot (and very responsive too!) to find out how I want my perfect wedding to be. I also requested many stuff, but they were very professional and flexible about my needs. I met kelly through Thumbtack, when I was going through a difficult financial season. She was patient and kind in her attentiveness to my needs. After communicating with her via phone, email and text I decided she was the ideal event planner for my son's Couple's Wedding Shower. Kelly helped with finding the perfect venue which was held at the Lakewood Country Club, in the city of Lakewood. The event took approximately 3 months to plan and be executed. I can you tell Kelly never missed a beat. She did all of the telecommunications and became that middle person for me. I was so Blessed to have her, seeing that we lived hours away from each other. I was very impressed with kelly's services from the first time we met face to face. On that same day she said OK! let's get started and off we went looking at venues. I did not need to say anything, during that initial process I was just there for the ride... she did all of the enquires and collected all of the information need. Soon after I got the call from Kelly we have found the perfect venue for you special event. Kelly would keep me up to date and well informed about pricing, menu,decorations, capacity, cake, music, flowers, theme and so much more. As a matter of fact! I have a bit of a confession.... she made me feel like a movie star who had a personal assistant, I must tell you I was loving it!!!!! Kelly went over and beyond for me and we pulled off an excellent Couples Wedding Shower. Kelly was very on time with everything, if she was running behind with an answer for me, she would alert me with a text or a phone call... She sure knew how to take the stress off me. Nothing that was expected of Kelly went wrong... She gave an excellent services and I would not hesitate to use her services again as well as, recommend her services to anyone planning something special for themselves or a family member. I got married in Dana Point and had my receptions in the Cove Room on the Harbor. I reserved the room and only had a couple hours before the reception to set up. Kelly did an absolutely amazing job! With only a few hours, she decorated the room exactly how I pictured it. She went above and beyond and stayed around when the guests arrived to assure that everything was prepared and ready! She was there early and assured everything was perfect! Everything ran smoothly and it was such a good feeling to know everything was getting sone and I didn't have to stress about it! I would definitely use Kelly again!!!

There aren’t enough good things to say about Ishita. We hired Ishita as a “day-of-coordinator” for two of my wedding events and I could not be more glad. She is outstanding an exceeded her “day-of” duties exponentially. She participated in most of my vendor consultations, provided suggestions and advice that I would have never considered, and was an all-star on both the days. Her timeline was on spot- Not only did she create a timeline for both of my events, she even created a timeline for my third event as well, which we didn’t hire her for (I wish we had). She even created a ‘Guest Timeline’ for our guests who were visiting from out of state/country which put in the welcome gift basket. She stayed in constant communication via phone, text, and email. Best of all, on the wedding day everything was flawless and ran smoothly. I can't keep track of all the compliments we got about the wedding flowing so well. Ishita is very easy and great to work with, so friendly, so sweet and calm and very professional. She always stepped in during my bridezilla moments to calm me down. Here are a few examples of what Ishita accomplished for me: 1. She took all of our favors, gifts, table numbers, table name cards, etc. and ensured they were all setup before the event started. 2. She collected all of our gifts and other belongings and gave them to a family member. 3. She made sure our families ate and had a good time. 4. On the reception day, my husband and I didn’t get a chance to eat, she made sure she packed us some food to go. Who does that?? 5. She made sure we took pictures with all our families who were visiting from out state/county 6. She helped our decorator to insure everything was setup before the event were to start. 7. She and her husband (who is great as well) helped my sister with a skit/dance. I cannot recommend her enough! I feel so blessed to have met her. Not only is she a great event planner, she has become a great friend!

Ishita was wonderful with all the services she provided. She was always on top of all the different aspects we needed to have ready for our special event. On top of that, she followed up multiple times well in advance to make sure we were comfortable with our choices and always did her best to show us all the options that existed, whether it was something as small as the different flower arrangements to making sure we had a full understanding of the different decorators that were in the market and how they apply to our tastes. We had EventSpell decorate and manage everything for my bridal shower and they did a phenomenal job! I was blown away at how great the tables and centerpieces looked. The wall that was decorated was truly spectacular. It takes someone with a great sense of imagination and design to have transformed the area from an empty dull clubhouse into a Great Gatsby themed shower. I was awestruck by everything because it felt like I was stepping back into time. I could not have asked for a better shower and Ishita did a great job with everything! I would highly recommend her services to anyone planning a party, wedding, shower, etc!

I am extremely impressed with Skyla Design. They made my wife's birthday party 150% better that it would have been. I asked Cristiana about two days before my wife's birthday party to put together so decorations. I only expected some balloons and some banners displaying happy birthday. When I showed up to the event I was happily surprised! I showed up to a beautiful decorated table with flowers balloons and may other beautiful decorations. The one thing that really blew my mind was that she even printed and laminated pictured of my wife's favorite celebrity. I didn't ask or expect for this but since she asked me a little bit about my wife's hobbies, interests, etc... She put this little twist on it and I have to say... My wife loved it! She was so surprised and so happy! It definitely made her day. It also made mine because I saw how happily surprised she was!!! I will definitely be using Skyla Designs for my future events! Lisa planned my Bridal Shower and it was amazing! I was more than happy with the way it turned out! My colors for the wedding were blue and pink and she made sure to incorporate them in all the decorations. The decor was tasteful and beautiful. No detail was left behind. She took the time to get to know me and what I liked, and made sure to include that throughout the party. The food was catered from a healthy and fresh company (so important to me!). She picked the perfect menu that was both light and delicious, ideal for a group of ladies. As the Bride, she didn't let me worry about a thing and got all my Bridesmaids involved. She worked well with members of my family in making sure that the event went off without a hitch. The most memorial part of the party was when she interviewed me and had previously interviewed my husband and recorded his answers on a little recorder. Everyone got a kick out of listening to my hubby answer the questions and seeing how our answers were the same and sometimes very different ha! At the end of the interview, my husband came in with a bouquet of roses. It was such a surprise and brought tears to my eyes. I loved the way she incorporated him into the event. The party was for my 60 th birthday and my husband worked with the event planner Lisa Wilkinson, they worked together for about 2 months and he described her as easy to work with and a good eye for detail...the decorating in the room was beautiful and elegant, Lisa worked with a caterer and the food was delicious..she arrived early to set up and stayed through the evening to attend to any requests.
