FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Music Entertainment I work within the budget of my clients to make sure they get a great value for their event and also a great show. Often I work to find the best fit and this can mean being flexible with pricing. If for instance there is an extra expense for new music to be learned we can find a way to use our resources wisely and secure the music the client needs with a mix of songs that are already on my play list and ones that need to be learned to make the performance fit the event. Teaching Guitar I have a discount offer for lessons where a package of 5 lessons pre paid will get a 2.5% discount. Likewise a 10 pack pre paid will get a 5% discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After we have gone over the details to make sure the customer is getting the best music for their event I will send a simple contract confirming the salient details. The customer can then read it over and return it with a confirming email or text. At this point I usually request a 20% deposit payable by Venmo, PayPal, check or other electronic payment system.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning new songs from great songwriters. I enjoy learning and arranging a new song for the customer or marriage couple when requested. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Guitar Performance. I studied in Brazil for 2 years and have played hundreds of shows singing and playing flamenco guitar, rock guitar and Classical guitar. I have 5 instructional DVDs out on the Homespun Tapes label.
