- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work at least one weekend per month in a high-end restaurant or cocktail bar. I work at most of the major industry conferences, including Tales of the Cocktail, London Cocktail Week, Golden State of Cocktails, Manhattan Cocktail Classic, Portland Cocktail Week, and San Antonio Cocktail Conference. I regularly attend trainings at distilleries, breweries, and vineyards.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've worked in other industries, and I've had quite a bit of success, but I love hospitality. I started this business because it's a great way to spend my time. I work every event. When I am not doing professional cocktail events, I volunteer the same services for charitable organizations.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common event, by far, is the in-home cocktail party. This is usually a social gathering of friends or colleagues.
