Luis Carrion

Hello! My name is Luis Carrion, I am a professional bass and guitar player. I am originally from New York and am now living in Los Angeles. Performing, recording, and teaching music has been my occupation for about 8 years, I am experienced in numerous genres, such as Salsa, Jazz, RnB, Gospel, Blues, Latin Jazz, and others. I've been playing bass for 11 years, and guitar for 13 years. I've had the privilege of recording for and sharing the stage with artists such as Marc Anthony, Brenda K. Star, Cabo Frio, salsa legends Ismael Miranda and Charlie Aponte, billboard charting saxophonist Judah Sealy, trombonist Melissa Gardiner, and The Mambo Kings, just to name a few. I've also studied with some of the most accomplished teachers around the world such as jazz guitarist Bob Sneider (Eastman School of Music), saxophonist, Doug Stone (Lousiana State University), bassist Fumi Tomita (Boston Conservatory), and many others. I read and write music as well. I started my relationship with music at the age of 2 and am very passionate about teaching and sharing the knowledge that I've gained over the years with aspiring musicians. Cheers!
