About this pro
Dareen and her ladies were terrific. Dareen stayed in touch with me before the event, came on time, and left the kitchen all cleared and clean with the extra food stored neatly in the refrigerator. They were professional yet not stiff. My guests, a casual bunch not used to being "served," felt very comfortable. They were extremely complimentary. I was free to enjoy my gathering with no worries because Dareen and her staff took care of everything!Apr 25, 2018Verified
Daneen cooked brunch for us while we visited LA for a bachelorette party. The food was absolutely amazing and our drink bar was perfect. She cooked plenty and we had leftovers for the next morning. When I revisit LA, I'll sure hire her again. Thanks Daneen, our expectations for brunch was more than we ever dreamed!Jul 4, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Typically, we cater events for 20 people and above. Our rates will normally start at $40 per person and will differ based upon menu choices, staffing needs and rental costs. Our chefs have a starting day rate of $350, not including the cost of food. Servers start at $25 per hour and bartenders at $30, and work on a 4-hour minimum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We start by getting to know our clients: their likes and dislikes; favorite foods; their vision for the event. We find that investing a bit of time in understanding what our clients' needs are up front will help us know how to better serve them and their guests. We are always prepared with suggestions, but ultimately how we proceed is based on our clients' preferences.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Research your choices before you hire someone. The more dependable companies that provide the best service and the most amazing food will tend to be more expensive, but worth every penny. The food and atmosphere of your event are what people will remember the most, so in the end, you may want to splurge for that extra "Wow!" factor.
