I have worked as the floral designer for numerous weddings and events where The Saucy Redhead did the catering. Betsy is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. She is accomodating and always maintains a sense of calm in even the most stressful situations. I have only heard great feedback on her catering and having eaten at many of the events she has catered I can say firsthand that her food is consistently amazing! I would highly recommend her for any event.

Run, do not walk, to take advantage of ANYTHING this woman has to offer - cooking classes, ecstatically delicious food, catering, challah, CAKES, meals, WOW!!! It is rare indeed to find someone so talented with this level of integrity, care and love. IF you have a chance to receive any of Betsy's services, consider yourself blessed.

Betsy made my son's birthday cake. The only direction I gave her was that it had to be themed Thomas the Tank Engine. She asked a few questions about flavor and style. What she delivered was one of the most beautiful and delicious cakes I have ever had. She is great to work with, delivers on time and her product is incredibly creative. I would highly recommend The Saucy Redhead and plan on using her in the future for my own events.

I have been ordering baked goods from Betsy for quite a number of years. Her pies/cakes are consistently superb! You really can taste the love put into her products. In addition she has always delivered to me on time and with a smile. I highly recommend all of Betsy's foods!

My family loves Betsy's food! it's a great mix of homey tasty food with a twist that makes a regular dish very creative. Betsy can master complex dishes, but what I admire the most is how she can take a simple dish and make it so delicious! I love her use of different flavors, the way she mixes them together, it's pure art! Her sauces, whether a meat sauce, pasta sauce or a dressing, are incredible!

I take classes/seminars/webinars when I can to improve my skill set and my knowledge about my field.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After my father passed away my priorities changed. I began to desire more from my work than the bottom line...I realized that I wanted to do something that nurtured people.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have been doing a lot of baking lately, particularly specialty cakes. When I see the clients faces after they see and then taste the cakes, I am proud of all the work I put into them and know that I have made their occasion just a little bit better.
