We chose Emo to work with my 11 year old daughter via Skype for voice lessons. She was really nervous to have her very first voice lesson over Skype, and with a stranger, but Emo quickly put her at ease. He’s patient, encouraging, positive, and also really uses the 30 minutes fully. He wasn’t the cheapest vocal coach to respond to my thumbtack but he really knows what he’s doing and maximizes the 30 minute lesson. My daughter is really happy with him as her teacher and so am I!
I am 57 years old (no Spring chicken) and came to Thomas for tenor sax lessons. My purpose is to perform and record sax solos for classic rock and blues. Thomas does a great job with understanding my goals and giving me a road map to achieve them. Very patient and intuitive.
Both of my children have been taking lessons with Rachel for the past 3 years and she's been awesome! My daughter takes singing lessons and my son has been taking saxophone lessons, and they both love it! She's really professional and fun to work with. It's also been nice that she teaches a lot of instruments so we can have one teacher come to the house to teach both of the kids one after the other. I couldn't recommend her enough!
My son started taking piano lessons from Kelly a year and half ago. Since then, he has blossomed. We'd tried a franchise center before discovering Kelly but quickly discovered that a minimum of piano playing is actually done there. At 7, he needed the basics first and she made it so easy and fun for him. Now 9, he took and passed the ABRSMs at Cal State LA last fall, becoming one of the youngest to do so out of 600 students. Recitals are offered twice a year, allowing kids to present their work to an audience. The kids enjoy playing, thanks to her patience, passion and persistence. We highly recommend Kelly Pedroza and Elite Musique.
Just what I was looking for in a jazz piano teacher! He listened to my goals and is crafting a teaching strategy to make me a better musician while enjoying the process. Looking forward to more piano lessons in the future. He also teaches saxophone.
Lenny Graf was very patient and took the time to let my kids learn at their own pace, he definitely realized very early that they were at two different levels, very patient and experienced working with kids, they look forward to their lessons every week ! Great for kids of all ages .
I Music is a superior musical instruction academy. Minho was professional and accommodating and her instructors are top of the line- amazing with my 7yr old daughter for violin lessons.
She was experienced, efficient and her communication with kids was outstanding, her method of teaching was so comprehendible. When we start we didn't know anything about the piano and playing it but now only thing is left practice practice to get better. Tnx
Oliver took me on as a student returning to the clarinet after 60 years! Building on a positive experience of having played in my high school band in the '50's, Oliver is guiding me back into the enjoyment of learning music. He is patient yet challenging, promoting excellence of tone and technique. His ability to teach with a light touch and a sense of humor makes being his student a genuine pleasure. Then, too, for a senior person, the brain fitness benefit is a real bonus.
Chika is an outstanding music instructor who has demystified the complexities of reading sheet music for beginners such as myself. Her method is intelligently paced and has allowed me to increase my skill level more rapidly than previous instructors. Chika has made playing music more accessible and enjoyable for me. I wholeheartedly recommend her classes.

I've been playing Sax Piano and Clarinet professionally for 15 years. Working in many studios with different providers and artists in multi genres. Well versed in different styles of music. Playing by ear is not as hard as some may think but you have to listen🎶 Playing my reading music notation just takes some practice🎶
I teach saxophone, flute, clarinet, music theory, and composition and arranging. I like to tailor my lessons to the needs and goals of my students while still giving them a firm base in the fundamentals of whatever they want to study. The main thing is I try and approach my teaching from as many different angles as possible. Not every mind is the same, so teaching means trying to accommodate all different ways of thinking.

Olesyas Story Music Teacher LA came to an existence out of one incredibly skilled teachers and musicians passion for music and teaching, her creative ability to motivate and excite students, and her desire to spread the love of music and learning to musically inclined children and adults. Olesya MacNeil is the founder of the Music Teacher LA. As a child she studied piano and voice and took her first piano lessons from her mother at age 5. Olesya attended a music school in the former Soviet Union for 7 years and then pursued her Masters in Music, Psychology and Pedagogy at the Omsk State University in Russia. During her years at the university, Olesya performed on stage, on the radio, and worked with musically gifted children from the local schools. During her years of study, Olesya completed extensive research on childrens intelligence relative to the study of music. After immigrating to the US in 1997, Olesya continued teaching music. She taught the children of Larry King, Billy Baldwin, Dan Beckerman (the alternate governor of LA Kings),Susannah Grant (who won the Oscar for Erin Brockovichs movie script), Bennett Schneir (the producer of many known animation films),and many other established film producers, screenwriters, political leaders, sportsmen, owners of sport teams and financial CEOs. Olesya also worked with special needs kids. Working with children was the most incredible gift for Olesya. She was very popular and sought after teacher. The families she worked with were referring each other to Olesya and they were meeting and building new friendships at Olesyas recital parties. Olesya worked 7 days a week, providing at one point a total of 53 in-home private lessons each week. Olesya has been traveling to her students and working 12 to 16 hours each day, including weekends. Olesya wished to teach fewer students, but she created such close ties with all the families, the families knew each other, they all liked Olesya, and thus Olesya simply could not quit any student without offending the family. Olesya has been teaching each student for 6-7 years on average. During such long period of time, her students goals and achievements became part of Olesyas life. Olesyas experiences working with different people were a book to write. Olesya once taught a beautiful 7 year old girl with amazingly big and sad blue eyes. The girl was the oldest child of 5 children in the religious family. She loved her piano lessons. She rarely practiced. When Olesya asked her why she didnt practice she honestly said that she really wanted, but her mom asked her to hold her newborn sister This 7 year old really enjoyed playing the piano, but sometimes she would question why she should learn the piano or anything else, Because I will be married the moment Ill finish the school. My family will find someone for me. I will never go to work and will have many children. Olesya was using all her creative ideas to ignite this little girls desire to learn and feel unique and important. This little girl can grow and help her own children love and understand music in the future. Olesya developed individual homework method for each of her students to encourage them to practice. Olesya was satisfied seeing her students succeed and happy to learn more and more. Olesyas recital parties were very inspiring and fun. She would rent a mansion or a large house of one of her students. She would break all her students into 15 performers per recital. One of her students baked cupcakes, where each cupcake was a music measure from a famous opera. Olesya trained her students how to successfully perform and overcome their shyness in recitals. Her methods worked. There were happy moments in students lives when they performed in recitals and students parents saw their achievements. Olesya has been saving her students drawings, essays, sayings, photos She has saved it as very precious items from her life. After several years in the private piano teaching in the US, rather overwhelmed by demand for someone of her talent and teaching skills, Olesya assembled music teachers with her caliber of credentials and expertise under one roof and named it Music Teacher LA. It is not easy to become a Music Teacher LA teacher. Of all the musicians Olesya interviews who wish to join the team, only 2% meet her rigorous standards of: ?Advanced music education ?Professional musical accomplishments ?Education and experience in teaching ?The special and unique type personality and creativity that motivates students ?THE BURNING DESIRE TO TEACH vs. MAKE MONEY TEACHING MUSIC Music Teacher LA today offers music lessons on all instruments and voice, expert piano tuning, and music summer camps.
