When we decided to hire a pianist instead of dj for our reception we new we'd get a different vibe, we weren't prepared for the wonderful treat Vince provided us. He brought a level of sophistication and grace to our event that allowed our guests to not only enjoy his talents, but to still engage with each other and take in the event simultaneously. Vince was well prepared, punctual, and ready to go. In chatting with him I found him to be incredibly personable and quite friendly. His musical ability is top notch, with a wide knowledge of and a variety of stylings. Thanks to Vince for an unforgettable evening!

My 5 year old just had his first lesson with Jamie last week and he can't wait for another lesson! Jamie was patient and kind while introducing him to both the piano and violin. I love that she uses proper musical terminology and that she teaches respect for the instruments from the start. Jamie included my 2.5 year old for part of the lesson, too, as she saw how interested she was. Jamie is a real gem!

The dawn of my singing career started when I was 16 years old, high school student in John Marshall High School under vocal coach and mentor Sophia Lee. Her dedication, patience, and unique style of coaching led me to my first singing debut on-stage in Marshall Vocal Pro in 2003 and led to numerous succeeding prestige vocal competitions and extensive music productions in United States. My style Broadway-Classical-Pop style of singing was shaped by Ms. Lee's excellent vocal training also became the base of all the trainings I had received from succeeding vocal coaches I had through the years. Ms. Lee's first hand training my voice had given me the chance to discover and expand the real potential of my talent. I am very much thankful, blessed and will forever treasure her commitment and hard work to me in past.

Reckless was the host band for my wife's recent surprise birthday party. They were professional in every way. Kim was always responsive to texts and emails as the date got closer. On the night of the event they were an absolute pleasure. So many of the attendees were impressed with their set list and musicality. I would highly recommend them as a classic rock cover band.

Mr. Wilde is an extremely experienced guitar and vocal instructor. He brings added value by introducing his students to the latest in music technology including vocal harmonies with TC Helicon and drum rhythms via Beat Buddy. I recommend him whole heartedly. Dr. Neil Hartman

BoomBox Heroes was one of the best decisions that we could have made for our wedding. They were accommodating to making their setlist to our desires. They offered fun outfit themes that we chose. I asked for some special requests, and they learned the 2 songs for us; both of which turned out great! When the big day came, they had top-quality sound equipment, lights, stage settings, and sound/light/video techs. It was a full-service for a very affordable cost! They even allowed me to come up and sing with them! There is no doubt that they were the hit of our wedding, and made it a party that would not be forgotten. As an individual that is very familiar with the music world and scene, I found BoomBox Heroes to be top-notch professionals, performers, musicians, and most of all-- A PARTY! I recommend them to the fullest!

Ignition is one of the best classic rock bands around. I have hired them several times for different events and every single time guests rave about their music. Most importantly they get everyone on the dance floor! As an event planner, that spells success for a party or wedding! On time, professional, great music selection and just fun!

I took piano lessons from Ben for about one year. Ben was my first piano teacher and the experience was beyond what I had expected. Ben provided me a solid foundation of site reading, learning classical pieces of music, and introduced me to impromptu jam. His lessons were personalized toward my skill level and the direction I wanted to take my piano playing. Ben’s teaching style is professional yet with a laid back vibe which always made me feel comfortable and able to express myself. I definitely recommend taking lessons from him if you get the chance – he was a wonderful teacher!

I hired Billy to teach me how to play piano because I had always wanted to learn, but I didn't want anything too formal. It was really just for fun. You can tell he really knows what he's talking about, and I feel like I learned a lot through my lessons with him. He almost felt like more of a friend than a teacher, which I liked. You'll learn how to play songs (he let me choose what interested me most), read notation, and also just understand what you're doing musically. I couldn't continue lessons because I started a job that interfered too much with my schedule, but I highly recommend Billy to anyone who wants to learn piano, or music in general!

A bit about myself, before I delve into praise for Chloe Pourmorady; I am a jazz musician and co-frontwoman of the LA band The B's and The Honey. We perform an eclectic melange of French, German and American Jazz, Soul and Rock music with a variety of performers trained at the Berklee College of Music and Loyola Marymount University. I first met Chloe while we were both students of classical music at Loyola Marymount, and was immediately impressed by her intensity and the joy with which she approaches her relationship to music. Since graduating, I have invited Chloe to perform with The B's and The Honey, as well as collaborated with her on several original songs, performed with her own musical collective, Melanchloé. Chloe Pourmorady creates musical ideas like most people walk with one foot in front of the other. Her upbringing as a child of Persian refugees has undoubtedly influenced her musical language, though her passion for expanding and deepening that vocabulary extends from her youthful experiments with electropunk songwriting, to her rigorous study of classical violin, to her exploration of Eastern European and Romani Folk music. Both as a teacher and a performer, Chloe is constantly pushing herself to communicate musical ideas with artful intention, and this detication makes her an asset to whatever endeavor she to which she chooses to lend her talents.

Mia is an excellent pianist, whose performances are both powerful and emotionally driven. She is patient with her students, encouraging their practice with her engaging lessons. I hold a great respect for her abilities and talent in front of a piano. It would not surprise me in the least, if one day she filled entire concert halls.

Dave was such a pleasure to work with. After doing extensive research on entertainment for my wedding, I finally ran across Dave's page on here and reviewed his work on his website and loved what I heard. I had a small wedding of about 22 close family guests but I wanted it to be special and he was very accommodating. He brought different instruments to set different settings for my party. I like to think of my wedding as a very glamorous party for close friends and he was such a pleasure. All my guests loved our entertainment...we had him for our ceremony and cocktail hour, during dinner and a wine tasting and a dance. When I met with him.....I requested him to play 3 songs and asked him to set the settings for the events that were taking place and he was fantastic all around...after trying to work with others, Dave was so great compared to the demands of other entertainers. He was great and very reasonably priced for the work that he provides....he such a talented man and am so thankful to have come across him and have him play for us.

I would highly recommend Dr. Daniel Lessner as a piano instructor/composer, consultant in the music industry utilized in a personal teaching environment or advanced training of academic achievement. Daniel Lessner has been the instructor for our children for almost 3 years now. He works under demanding schedules with other students and professional music industry personnel and is capable of developing the potentials of all his students while contributing to the success in their music careers. Daniel Lessner is one of the few teachers who is a concert pianist and devotes his time to others interested in the love of music. He works with independent music producers as well as major motion picture sound track requirements, bringing to his students the real world essentials whether be Classical, Contemporary or Jazz curriculum. Dr. Lessner is also a certified CM Instructor dedicated to the advancement of academic endeavors for the young. Our sons have built a stronger foundation under the guidance of Dr. Lessner. He is passionate about what he does and inspiring to students. Organized and diligent, Dr. Lessner always has his lessons in order and earned the respect of all students with his integrity and commitment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Daniel Lessner as a Professional Master in any capacity having to do with the training, development and creation of music.
