I've been receiving timely alerts about software security updates, and they have been very helpful to ensure that I am promptly addressing vulnerabilities as soon as they are known. Jake from WestSide InfoSec is great at explaining what I need to know, so I can focus on my other priorities. He also through in a lot of advice regarding my password protocols. Jake responded to my text for help immediately. We connected to my iPhone and iPad remotely and he helped protect me from pfishing attacks on my accounts. WestSide InfoSec migrated my domain and email from 1&1 to Gsuite for speed and better security options. I thought this process was going to be a huge headache, but they completed it quickly and thoroughly. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We believe in community and referrals. We will not price ourselves out of a project for pride. We believe in our craft and building up our community with better training and solutions that will last. Small to Medium Businesses whether run out of the house or an office is our expertise.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We listen first. We'll make recommendations based on timing, cost, and resources. We understand that downtime of a computer or network can be downtime for the business, Our goal is to minimize this time as much as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We are trained by UCLA's Cyber Security Program, AWS cloud certified, Security+, C++, Python, Terminal, & SQL to name a few. Most importantly we are lifelong users of all the major equipment available to the public.
