FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are competitive and fair when considering the extensive work that is done to bring a vinyl turntable setup to your event and this also includes the behind the scenes work of building a vast collection of records that will be enjoyed by you and your guests. This includes the rare and expensive records and those that are picked up on my travels across the globe. These cannot be compared to songs that were downloaded off the internet by digital DJs. Many of my records have been passed down to me and many have their own stories to tell!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new client begins with understanding why they are requesting my services and what type of event they are looking to enhance. My services are unique and do not fit every clients' needs. If a client is looking to provide their guests with popular top 40 music this will most likely not be the right fit. That is not to say that you will be unfamiliar with all the music I play, quite the opposite as some music is timeless and popular for good reason! But my job is to provide clients with a truly unique and curated musical experience that is not easily replicated in the digital music era.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Born in Music City USA (Nashville, TN) to a professional drummer, music has always been a part of my DNA. I have been a lover of music ever since I can remember and spend every waking moment of the day with either tunes in my airpods, a favorite track coming through my car speakers, or a record on my turntable. This infatuation with music has led me to continuously explore different genres spanning various eras and geographical areas around the world. I look forward to sharing my musical history with you and your guests!
