Troya was the dj for my album release party last year. There were so many moving parts to the night , but she came on time and set up her equipment and played music until the last person left . She had the audience entertained before after and during the show . She knows how to read an audience and sets a playlist to match your desired theme . Troya was a Godsend for a DJ from our initial conversation to the day of my event. As an experienced entertainment broker I’ve hired over 30 DJ’s over the last two decades. T_Roya made the greatest first impression. Her professionalism & ability to set the mod for my event compelled me to book her for an additional 3 events within the first 20min of her set. Dr troya is a whole vibe! She sets such a dope vibe, experience, and atmosphere. I love that she's flexible and extremely knowledgeable with song selections. She's also open to song selections during the event so she's able to pivot. Everyone loved her and she kept folks dancing on the dance floor. I loved her 90s, R&B, oldies vibe. Others appreciated her mixing in Bad Bunny. Some really appreciated her additions of some house.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial message/ email on Thumbtack, t_roya the dj will meet with the client via Zoom to discuss the music client envisions for their event and see if my music style is a good fit. If Client wishes to move forward I will prepare a contract for the client to review, and invoice is sent. 20% deposit is due upon contract signing and final payment is due on the event date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a trained musician and studied at Scratch Academy.
