Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I also run a special where the student can purchase 6 lessons in advance and get the 7th for free. After the first lesson if the student decides that's what s/he wants to do...they can. If not, they can pay as they go. Or, if it's not a good fit for them...no harm no foul.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?FIND OUT WHAT THEY WANT TO ACHIEVE! That's my first priority...I always want to customize the lesson to fit with their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've got an Associates of Arts in Performance for Drums from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. I also attended Eastern New Mexico University for 3 years with my focus on Music Business and Performance. I've had countless hours and years worth of private lessons from a range of professionals including, but not limited to Ryan Brown (Dweezil Zappa), Chuck Silverman (Latin/Funk educator and book writer), Mark Clark (Ottmar Liebert, John Popper). I'm currently the drummer for Nashville touring and recording artist Jake Clayton. I've had gigs in nearly every genre and can pass on real world knowledge of the music industry to my students.
