FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Discounts on packages. Rates vary if they require me to travel to your own home/studio.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is important to understand a students playing level and familiarity with the guitar. Secondly, we determine individual goals and each students ideal practice schedule. From there on, the lessons are split between exercises for the hands and ear, alongside more creative endeavors. Examples can be triads, chords, scales, intervals, general fretboard mastery, alternative and hybrid picking techniques, strumming and fingerpicking techniques, improvisation, etc. Creatively, we work on songs. These can bee jazz, classical, rock, etc., based on the students desires. I welcome my students to bring me any piece of music they are interested in, and i will have it prepared to teach for them the nest lesson. For songwriting students, we work on everything from the melody, harmony, lyrics, and basic production ideas and practices.
