I've been training at Sparta Academy for several months now and could not be happier with my experience. The environment crafted by the instructors and trainers in the classes could not be more encouraging or positive. Not only are the instructors and owners remarkably encouraging, you will find the community of students to have the same attitude. There is always someone willing and ready to help if you have any questions. Regardless of your level of experience, either in the Martial Arts or Cross-Training (&lifting), you will never be disappointed with how you will be pushed and encouraged to move past your boundaries and constantly improve. Learning Krav Maga these past few months (bear in mind, I started with absolutely zero experience), has not only improved my fitness immensely, but left me with a surprising amount of confidence that I wasn't expecting as a result of these classes. I would absolutely recommend taking any of the classes offered. I particularly enjoy learning martial arts, as it's a discipline I never imagined I could do but has quickly become a passion of mine. Also, I love attending the morning cross-training classes as I've learned new techniques to increase my strength while always ensuring I'm performing movements correctly and will not injure myself (I've previously had several shoulder surgeries). Large egos are unwelcome, so have no fear if you are very new to any of the disciplines, as you will be welcomed just as much as the most advanced student in the class. I highly recommend Sparta Academy. It's not all serious either, in case you're concerned. It's a community of highly professional, but real people who aren't afraid to joke and laugh in between sets. Everyone is personable and welcoming, and you're certain to get your money's worth.

My 15-year-old son has been taking MMA lessons from him. My son loves it. Margo is very patient and always positive. My son seems to be learning a lot. Margo also set him up with a diet and workout plan that my son has been following.

The self defense lessons were great! I have been taking them for a few years and I have learned so much. Martin is a great teacher and very knowledgeable in his trade. I would recommend his classes to everyone.

MY ADDICTION!!!! There are no words to explain how much I LOVE this class and ADORE Inez. The fast-paced music along with cardio kickboxing and an AMAZING instructor, the combination is FIERCE. This is THE best deal for an incredible workout. You get WAY more than what you pay for. Having two young children, I rarely have time for myself, but when I have an hour for myself... Do I get a massage? NO. mani/pedi? NO. I go to Kick2Fit. That says a lot. After taking this class I feel AMAZING, less stressed, SOAKED, and have the patience to deal with the little ones. Bottom line Kick2fit makes me a better mother. No joke! I am OBSESSED!!!! Proud to be a member of the K2F fam! Holler!

Aaron is an amazing instructor, who is intense, fun, plays good music, entertaining, and not bad on the eyes either! He is professional, gives a variety of activities and burns more calories than any other instructor! His kick-boxing lessons should be called kick-your-a$$ boxing!!!

When I started my journey in martial arts many years ago, I was literally hopping from one dojo after another.  Dismayed about the over-priced , upsell this and that nature of many karate school.  I somehow stumbled upon the Shugyokan.  Thinking that this karate school is probably just like any dojo and dojangs I’ve visited.   I was surprised that this school does not do contracts or sell ranks at all, truth to be told, your rank must be earned not sold.  The training is both hard for adults as well as for the kids.  These school without a doubt has produced kids who are now into adulthood become fine outstanding citizen.  I’ve been training here along with my son who started when he was 18 months old.

I have trained in the art of Kung Fu San Soo off and on since approximately 1982. During this time period I have studied under different instructors and in various schools, and along the way I have also picked up a little Judo and Jujitsu. Until now, under the instruction of Master Dale Garrison, have I learned the science and mechanics behind the art of San Soo. It has brought my understanding of the arts I have studied to a whole new level. For all the hands on instruction he has given me and my fellow students I am eternally grateful. I highly recommend this class for students of all arts. It will elevate your skill set to a much higher level. Rick L. Baca You can take my life but not my confidence.

The classes at MG Kenpo are not merely a karate lesson, but an enlightening section towards your mind and body. Since MG Kenpo is a family size dojo, Master Gomez can focus on students one on one through regular class section. Master Gomez demonstrated an admirable degree of passion, knowledge and skills towards Kenpo. His moves are polished & professional and the students learned a lot from him. His teaching includes a wide variety of Kenpo School Teaching method, such as Old School Kenpo Training, New Conventional Kenpo class, Kenpo Technique Line, Basic Tranditional Karate and technique knowledge. He varied his class to be age appropriate for primary, middle and upper grade students and made good use of student participation. I highly recommend Master Gomez & MG Kenpo Academy to all kids, audit and Kenpoist.

My son and I have been students at Crescent Moon Karate dojo for over a year now. My son has earned his yellow belt and shows improvement across so many areas of his life - at home, in school with friends! His confidence soared even more when we had his birthday party there this past summer! And it was quite possibly the most awesome kids birthday party I have been to or hosted! Renshi Torres ran a seamless celebration which focused on getting the kids into a lot of karate fun and games and making my little boy the hero of the party. My son got to break a piece of wood with a karate kick!! The other kids were so excited! We got 2 party assistants and the kids were entertained from beginning to end! Awesome party for the price! The first thing my son said afterward..."Can we do it again next year?" I am so happy to be a part of this school as a parent and a student myself. I love my MMA class and plan on enrolling in karate too sometime soon. CMK is a wonderful, traditional dojo with a talented instructor and support staff. I can't recommend them enough!

We've been taking karate at American Kenpo Karate in both group and private class for two years. As an educator who works with both kids and young adults, I appreciate their care and professionalism. I know my daughter is safe with her instructors. She has thrived under their study and has earned her belts through hard work and well executed katas. In addition Kenpo is the best form of self defense for karate. The classes teach discipline, excellent form and responsibility. I would look here before considering anywhere else. They are a step above the rest!

I love this dojo! its clean, fully equipped and matted. Not like some others schools in the area that just train on carpet and use hard flooring. Blisters on the feet from carpet burns are not fun. Duarte Shotokan teaches Real Karate from a traditional lineage and it is a safe place to train, especially for kids. All the instructors and assistants are very kind and caring too. I have been in class for a few weeks already and I love the intense workouts and practical self defense lessons that are taught. I would recommend Duarte Martial arts Academy to anyone looking for a fun, safe and caring dojo.

Both of my sons (10 and 7) took Karate lessons from Kevin for about a year. He's an amazing instructor - he always knew how to get the kids excited about the day's lesson but listening at the same time. Always patient and kind, Kevin worked with kids of all skill levels and even some special needs kids in his class. Every single child in his class left feeling accomplished, proud, and confident. We were sad when Kevin moved away - we haven't been able to find another instructor who even comes close to his caliber when teaching kids martial arts. We highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking to learn martial arts, in particular kids!! Thanks Kevin!!

This karate academy is excellent. Sensei Greg is an excellent instructor, and a trustworthy person. Teaching karate, especially to the children is extremely important to him. You never get the idea that he's just trying to make money. On the contrary, he has given up his time for free in many cases. He also cares about his students on a personal level, and does whatever he can to bring out their personal best in all areas.
