FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am classically trained when it comes to the art of magic. That is, I learned my craft by apprenticing for some of the most highly regard magicians of my trade. Aside from magic, itself, I am also trained in Theatre and improvisiation -- two skills that certainly complement my magic, and give me an extra understanding of how to entertain an audience.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have the good fortune of having my work take me too all corners of the world. My list of appearances include headlining for luxury cruise lines, prestigious universities, and Fortune 500 companies, to high-profile individuals such as celebrities, dignitaries, and heads-of-state. Most of my clients are very private individuals -- folks who have seen-it-all and done-it-all, and are very discerning when it comes to choosing an entertainer for their event.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hiring a Los Angeles magician can be a bit daunting, as there are many talented performers in the area. Start by taking it step by step. What kind of event do you have, and what type of magician would fit that event? Think about your needs -- what type of entertainment you are looking for, for how large of an audience, budget, etc. The more information you have, the better a seasoned professional can help you with a consultation. Check an entertainer's website for credits -- is he a Magic Castle magician, is he a full time professional or a dabbling hobbyist? If you're interested, actually call or e-mail the entertainer and start a conversation. That is a great start to seeing if that particular entertainer is right for you. Trust your gut from there.
