I couldnt be more thrilled with how my Halloween "Fem-style Freddy Krueger" photo shoot came out, thanks to Honorine Makeup Studios work with my hair and makeup! I had a vision, and it didnt take much description at all for them to know EXACTLY what I was going for and to bring it to life - Onis makeup was perfect to achieve the balanced mix of horror and beauty I was envisioning, and her prosthetic work (burn scars on part of my face) was an absolute work of art. Between that and the sassy faux-hawk hair style I was positively BLOWN AWAY when I turned around and saw myself in the mirror! The pictures came out even better than Id ever imagined, and theres no way they would have been anywhere nearly as awesome if it hadnt been for Oni & Howies work! My experience with Oni Jomir was exceptional. She has great talent and has a second nature to do makeup. She is very respectful and will ask you first instead of just doing whatever like other make up artist will do and won't take your opinion. She takes the time to understand what would you like and works with you and to perfect the look that you would like. She also uses the latest make up and tends that is out there. She is also is very clean. She cleans her brushes after each use/client, which is Very Important ! Therefore, I believe that if your looking for a makeup artist for a special occasion ONI Jomir will be the right choice.

Oni is fabulous to work with! Not only is she super friendly, but she is so very talented as well. Being a professional photographer, I have worked with many make-up artists, and I can say with confidence from hiring Oni to do my own make-up, as well as my client's make-up, that Oni isn't just good at what she does, she's a true artist! She has a passion for what she does, and its obvious for all to see the pride she takes in her work. Highly recommend!

I have taken courses with award winning makeup artists and recently finished studying in the 6-month intensive, advanced makeup program at the Makeup Forever Academy in Paris. I also read makeup books and magazines, while keeping up on the new and fresh products out there.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Bridal, beauty, editorial, fashion, film, and special effects are all areas of my expertise.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you get a makeup trial if you can, especially for big days like weddings!
