I've been taking online guitar lessons on and off for years and Shawn is by far the best teacher I've had. Shawn is a great listener, has endless knowledge, and can tailor your lessons to any style of music you want to learn.
My son has been taking guitar lessons from John (Whitehead) for about a year now. We couldn't be happier. John is professional, patient and very competent. My son has mild autism, so it's sometimes challenging to find an instructor who can get the best out of him. John has a relaxed attitude but he also stresses proper technique, so I feel like we've really struck gold. I would recommend Peaceland Music to anybody.
The best guitar lessons with excellent service, they are professionals and amazing customer service, love them:)
Banjo lessons with Eddie have been spectacular! He's very knowledgeable and can always explain what I might be having problems with. I leave each lesson not being able to wait to go home and practice. I can't wait for my lesson next week!
Great guitar instructor who teaches you notes, different strumming techniques, picking, how to read music and is a wealth of knowledge on music of all kinds and is very personal and will adjust to what you would like to learn. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone wanting to learn guitar or master it.
Steve is a wonderful teacher. When I started lessons I had been playing for a while but I needed guidance on where to go from just basic chords and strumming patterns. Steve tailored my lessons to the genres I wanted to study while giving me exercises that would better my study no matter what direction I chose to go. We even started coupling the guitar lessons with banjo lessons! Steve is well versed in so many genres and instruments and on top of that, he is a friendly, patient and fun person who communicates well and is easy to get along with.
Great instructor for guitar. Very patient and methodical approach to teaching and ensuring no steps are skipped. I have the tendency to look ahead to more advanced topics rather than completing the current exercises. Dave helped encourage me to take each step one at a time. Highly recommended!
I have worked with Bob on various levels. First, Bob provided me with private guitar lessons for several years. Bob made the learning experience fun and enjoyable. I was able to learn and play the kind of music that I wanted to play. Bob is also very patience (staying with me for so many years is a true testament to this!). My youngest son Michael also took private guitar lessons from Bob. On a more professional level, Bob and his band performed at my oldest son's (Bobby) wedding receipion. It was a "blast" with all of the guests dancing and singing. I actually received a call years later from an attending guest asking for Bob's contact information for their wedding reception (obviously they had very fond memories of the event and Bob's music). If and when my 2 remaining kids get married, I can guaranty Bob will be going the music. He makes an event a real party!!!

I've taught guitar since the 1970s and have opened the eyes and ears of literally thousands of students. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, I have the knowledge and experience that can increase your understanding of music and make you a better player. I also teach bass and mandolin. The following testimonials are from 14 of my past and present students: "I took lessons on and off for about 15 years. I started off on the bass and then tried learning some guitar. I really had a great time learning how to play bass from Jeff. He makes it really fun and relevant to your needs. Some days, I really wanted to learn a song I heard on the radio or from a favorite band, and he was instantly able to teach it to me. Jeff is a really great guy and really knows how to teach guitar. I would definitely recommend taking lessons from Jeff. He will go at your pace, and you will have a blast learning how to play the guitar!" -Dave Washington "I wasn't the most diligent student in the world, and even still, I learned some of the basics; how to read a lead sheet, how to play faster and when to play faster. Take lessons from Jeff and you will learn to build chords, and to easily pick apart a piece of music. On top of that he's a pretty cool guy. Solid gold!" -Rick Armstrong "I took lessons from Jeff in my formative years, [as did many of my friends.] He is the perfect teacher: Highly skilled, informative, patient, friendly, challenging and a lot of fun! Jeff was more than willing to teach me things I wanted to know, but more importantly, he set me straight on developing good technique, note and chord chart reading, understanding theory, ear training and improvising. He also turned me on to life changing music that was not yet on my young radar! He is a walking encyclopedia of musical knowledge. From beginners to advanced students, Jeff is your man!" -Jason Chesney "I highly recommend Jeff as a guitar teacher. His method of teaching is very versatile and he is willing to exactly create what the student wants to learn. His knowledge is vast and his understanding of theory is overwhelming. Give Jeff a chance ot enhance your playing abilities. I'm sure glad I did "--Larry Magdelano "Jeff is an amazing guitar teacher. I've had him as a teacher for about a year, maybe longer. I would leave his class extremely happy knowing I could go home and finally play guitar. If it weren't for him, I'd probably have up my baby [my guitar] a long time ago. He made things really easy to understand. He had great patience for me. He broke things to a level where my mind would just absorb the information. I highly recommend him for any body that wants to learn guitar in a fun and productive way. "-- Onny Trujillo "Jeff is an awesome teacher and he teaches well. He knows his materials and knows how to teach. For all the years I've been taking guitar lessons from Jeff he's been very helpful and very patient. When he teaches me I feel as he encourages me to be the best guitarist I can be". -Michelle Li "Jeff can take you anywhere you want to go as a musician. I took weeky lessons from Jeff and still go to him on advice for song composition. What I gained from Jeff, besides a true understanding of guitar fundamentals, is an understanding of how music "works"--the harmony behind it. From Jeff's instruction, I understand the theory of music--how scales are formed, how chords are built from these scales, and how to read and write all of it. I strongly recommend Jeff Stetson to anyone who truly wants to play any stringed instrument, especially guitar, at any level. He will teach you the how and why depending on an individual's goals.--Gary Crisp Jeff is and has been my #1 recommendation to learn and play music for 20+ years! I took bass lessons from Jeff for 5 years, and in that time my world of music expanded as did my skills in playing music. My lessons with Jeff prepared me well enough to enter college level music courses. If I had a gig, Jeff zeroed in on what I needed to know & helped me get the gig. His study techniques work if you work 'em! He will show you what you want & you will get a whole lot more. All levels, all styles, Jeff Stetson is my #1 recommendation for learning music."--Matt Sampson "Jeff is an awesome teacher! I decided to take lessons from him after hearing a friend play and finding out he took lessons from Jeff [my friend is an amazing guitarist.] Not really knowing how to play guitar, at 1st I was a little nervous, but it was such a comfortable environment that I always looked forward to my next lesson.Without realizing it, I had progressed more than I could've imagined in a relatively short amount of time. Whether you've never picked up a guitar, or have been playing for years, Jeff is the teacher you want".--Robert Ramsey "Jeff is patient with his students and a skillful master on guitar.Jeff's musical talents and abilities are God given but the best part about his teaching you is you know he really cares about you and your success as a guitarist and human being! I would highly recommend Jeff as your choice of guitar teachers, phenomenal guitarist and human being who has stayed true to his art!!!"--Dave Lama "Jeff took me from a raw beginner to a performer. He's unique in that he tailors his lessons to YOUR needs and then does what it takes to help you reach your goal. Additionally, if you want a teacher that relates to your musical sensibilities, Jeff's the man. His immense and eclectic musical collection indicates a wide variety of musical appreciation. Can't say enough, if you need hand holding or a task master, you can't do better. If you're not local, Jeff's worth the drive."--Kevin Casey "Jeff is a great teacher who helps you learn the guitar, step by step, with a lot of great tips. I started to learn the guitar from Jeff when I was in the 5th grade and I( have never regretted it. He has helped me improve so much that now I can now solo off of songs and learn to dissect popular songs myself. It's always so fun to play guitar with him and he's always encouraging. He is also really funny and entertaining. He has a lot of knowledge on guitar and music in general. Guitar has been a big part of my life and so has Jeff.I owe him all my thanks in teaching me how to enjoy and utilize guitar beyond just learning chords and progressions."--Joy Huang "When only the best will do! In 1977 I was taking guitar lessons and although I was developing as a guitarist I was not being taught the styles and techniques I wanted to learn. Jeff was recommended by a bass player I went to school with. I started taking lessons from Jeff and he took me from being somewhat frustrated with my instrument to truly understanding it and being able to make it do what I imagined it doing. Within 6 months, I had people thinking I had been playing 5 years or more. Jeff will make you sound good fast! He will help you with technique and teach YOU what YOU want to know. I was amazed and so will you! He is a great musician who has "lived the blues" and puts 100% of his heart and soul into every note. Learning from Jeff Stetson is in honor and you will NOT be disappointed!"--Greg Gilbert "One of the best teachers I ever had.. Jeff is an awesome teacher! He explained every lesson with a lot of details since I was a beginner and taught me chords, leads, and songs through out the years. It's been great learning from him".--Benjamin Jimenez
