FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's a matter of what the source is. They're situation. Is it 126 tracks of nightmare edits that was recorded poorly with bad performances. Or does it just need to be balanced? I've done everything from free to few grand a song. Typically I think we can always work out something fair, again it depends on everyone's situation and what needs to be done. Maybe it needs more producing? Better takes? It's hard to pin point it, everything is custom.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's always been about working with people that compliment what you do. A lot of times I always find it's best to meet or at least talk to see if you will be good match for each other. Always making sure you are both thinking and moving in the same direction and vision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was one of 14 engineers in the world to be asked to go to "Mix with the Masters" in the south of France. Hanging out mixing with the worlds top mixers and sharing secret after secret and working on all kinds of new genres, from Indian hip-hop to Swedish dub step¦ Always learning because it's limitless. Since being back I've had the honor to learn some of Jack Joseph Puig's tricks personally at Ocean Way Recordings. Incredible!
