Introduction: ***I'm currently only available for local dog walking & feeding, and cat feeding. No overnight stays.*** I also am fully vaccinated for COVID-19, with two booster shots. It's my top priority to prove I'm trustworthy to the animals I serve, and to the humans who love them. I have a high success rate of forming a quick bond with animals, but also understand that respect needs to be earned, which sometimes takes time. I gain pet owners' trust through my reliability, and the care I put into my work. Animals are sweet souls, full of personality and keen instinct. I love to get to know and connect with them, as they remind me to be the best human I can be.

Elektra Grant took care of my dog, plants, mail, and residence while I was traveling for a week during 2013. My dog is 11 years old and is used to taking very long walks every day. My yard is small, so walks twice a day are needed. Elektra stayed at my place for the week in Pomona, took great care of my dog, and everything else, and sent me pictures too. My dog adores spending time with her! Elektra is reliable and responsible, and really great with animals and plants. She kept my place nice and the dog happy. My dog likes most (but not all) people, but can be reactive around some other dogs. Elektra listened well about my dog's walking routines, his feeding schedule, and his triggers while on walks. We even had a practice session once before I left. I found a happy dog when I returned, and everything was in order. I definitely recommend Elektra Grant's work as a pet-sitter and dog-walker!

The scale above is not adequate to rate Elecktra Grant; I am giving her a 10 star rating! Elecktra took care of my three cats and my home while I was on holiday for 20 days. Elecktra is an interesting, intelligent and outstanding person; She teaches college level courses in "sustainability". She loves animals and my cats love her. My cats are a challenge, they need special food, eye drops, etc. Elecktra took on the responsibility and did an outstanding job. I know that when one leaves their loved ones and home to another person they want to be able to feel comfortable in doing so. If you meet and hire Elecktra you will have no worries when you leave home!! When I came home my cats were calm, happy animals and my home was immaculate. Elecktra is a knowledgeable adult who knows what she wants to do. You will be lucky if you hire her. She is my go-to cat/house sitter from now on!

Electra Grant took care of our cat during two days. We made all arrangements via e-mail and phone; this was very efficient. After our return we found "Monty" very happy and Elektra left a pleasant handwritten note abour her experience. I highly recommend Elektra Grant and her pet sitting services! Elektra is not only a fantastically caring person; she is also incredibly knowledgeable about dog and cat behavior. My wife and I have 3 rescue animals (2 cats and 1 dog). All 3 of our girls have unique personalities along w/ behaviors traits we work on in order to maintain balance in our house. When we first found Elektra, she worked w/ us extensively to best understand our animals and be able to watch and care for them in the most accurate way. She is detail orientated, very comprehensive and has a very calm presence. We feel that our animals are very well behaved but really only feel comfortable leaving home w/ them being watched by someone exactly like Elektra. She touches base w/ you as much as you see fit, giving great updates on how your animals are doing. She follows left instructions to perfection and again w/ her knowledge of animal behavior, is ahead of any issues that might occur when you leave home. She really is an amazing pet sitter that I recommend to anyone looking for best to watch their "kids" when they head out for any reason or duration of time. Please consider Elektra, we love her! My husband and I and our springer spaniel, Oliver, just got back from a five-week stay in Santa Monica. The bungalow was great, but no private yard/doggie door, so we really needed someone to take care of Oliver on our long days/nights out. Elektra was the perfect dog sitter. Her availability and flexibility were great and Oliver adored her from the start -- and he's a spaniel, so not a pushover. Elektra is completely dependable, trustworthy, and delightful. She's that fine combination: good for the people, good for the dog. Plus, she took great pictures of Oliver throughout their time together!

My neighbor hired me to take care of her cat when I was 8 years old. Thanks to great references and my love of animals, I've been able to continue this enjoyable line of work for many years.

I was honored to have a dog who is normally wary of strangers snuggle up to me within 5 minutes of meeting him.
