Daniel was everything advertised. Very knowledgeable, patient and easy to relate to. I've only had one lesson so far and am looking forward to many more.Feb 3, 2020Verified
I was lucky enough to study with Daniel for about six months before he moved out of state. In that time, he taught me more about music, theory, improvisation and how to have fun at the keyboard than I learned in a decade of childhood lessons.Oct 30, 2019
We have worked with Daniel Salka for the last four years while watching our now 11 year old daughter became a confident piano player. We are extremely grateful to Daniel for his enthusiasm for music and dedication to teaching, which has made Sophia a bold musician and even a beginner composer. Daniel’s passion for the performing arts makes him an outstanding music educator as well as a great performer. It has been a pleasure to work with him and a great experience to attend his concerts!Nov 6, 2019
Daniel was a really really good piano teacher. He was really nice, funny and kind, but also made sure we stayed focused on music. I have had teachers before him that were really unstructured and others that had really rigidly structured lessons; I think Daniel was in a really good spot in the middle. He taught me so much about jazz piano and improvisation, while still making time for classical and pop piano. He is also a really skilled pianist and musician. I am really sad not to be able to take lessons from him anymore :-(Nov 8, 2019
Great instructor! Daniel's an amazing and talented pianist who tailored my lessons and songs to my goals and interests. We rotated through new songs frequently, which kept things interesting, and he's a huge believer in finding your own style rather than just copying others. On top of that, he's super friendly, laidback, encouraging, and always willing to be flexible with my schedule.Oct 25, 2019
