Introduction: Student's choose the songs they want to play!
Pop/ Disney/ Coldplay/ Pink/ Beatles/rock/ jazz/ blues/ classical/ movie themes etc. We find the songs and curtail it to the student's level. Do you want to learn how to play Chopin on the keyboard? We'll find a song and version that is right for you and your skill level. Do you have a big audition coming up and need a vocal coach? Our instructors are here to prepare you for any performance. Struggling with writers block? Can't finish that song you started last month? Our songwriting teachers will help you with melody, chords, and it will be done in no time! All music lessons are taught by young, hip, and fun teachers. Curriculum is specifically tailored to the student's interests and level of proficiency. We teach all levels from beginner to advanced. Students range in age from 5-75 years old. Our goal is to make music education exhilarating for students, while still providing a structured learning approach that's necessary to achieve the skills they need to enjoy music for a lifetime.
Most importantly, we strive to relate to each individuals musical interests. We are dedicated to teaching students the essentials of music: note reading, technique, breath control, warm ups, theory, song structure and discovering the joy of creating music! Students will learn to read, perform, and have fun while doing so. Private lessons ensure that each student has the undivided attention of the teacher and that they progress at a level suited to their needs. In addition to private instruction in piano, voice, and songwriting, we have regular recitals that give interested students a chance to experience performing in front of an audience, enhancing the student's learning experience- building confidence.
