I'm passionate about helping people become confident writers, with an emphasis on school essays, creative writing, college application personal statements, and public speaking. I have a BA in English, an MFA in Creative Writing, and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. I'm also a published writer and have taught English and Creative Writing in high schools, juvenile halls, colleges, and universities. I offer online creative writing workshops, which can be one-on-one or in a group setting. Whether you need help with a professional written statement, a bio, a school assignment, a college application essay, a bar/bat mitzvah speech, a wedding toast, a work-related text or just writing for fun, I'm here to help!

Taking Dr. Loring’s writing course provided me with the foundational tools to feel empowered in my writing. I found her technique and prompts to be informed, creative and inspiring. She helped me find my writing voice and confidence. I will continue to take her workshops, working one on one and any other offerings she may have.
