Great provider! I contacted Darryl on a very short notice and he responded immediately. He's very good at what he does and has a great attitude. If you're looking for a new IT guy, I would highly recommend his services! Will definitely be working with him again. Thank you! I am the Practice Manager of a busy Pediatric office in Thousand Oaks, CA. Our office network had been pieced together patchwork-style over many years. As our business grew, adding more computers, printers, fax machines and phone lines, we were left with a nasty nest of tangled wires throughout our 4,000+ sq. ft. of office space. Our computers weren't communicating with printers. Our internet speed was so slow, I longed for the days of dial up! I was in a mess and desperately in need of a pro. Through Thumbtack, we located the best IT person imaginable, Darryl Morning. When I first contacted Darryl, I found him to be very easy to communicate with and extremely knowledgeable. He was incredibly patient and had a kind spirit (yes, it came across over the phone). He listened carefully to me and understood exactly what our situation was. As a medical office, it is imperative to be able to communicate with hospitals, labs, other physician offices. We were in a time-sensitive situation. Darryl came out right away and in a very short time, after doing much research on our behalf, he set us up with a new phone provider (saving us over $200/mo.) and high speed internet. Darryl then came into the office early one Sunday morning while we were not open, and connected all of our computers, printers, phones and faxes. When Darryl finished, everything was communicating perfectly and running at top speed. He also went up into the ceiling and removed the mess of wires that other installers had left behind. Darryl operates with great professionalism and integrity. I have the utmost respect for him and trust him completely. I recommend Darryl Morning as an IT Consultant without reservation.

Darryl was fantastic. I am pretty comfortable with technology, but there were some peripherals that were giving me a bit of a headache so I needed someone to trouble shoot. He responded quickly, was extremely flexible in scheduling, punctual, professional, and was done much sooner than I expected. I was so impressed by his easy going manner and clear explanations about how he fixed the issue. I was also happy to see that in the end he charged me exactly what he said he would - no surprises whatsoever. If you're looking for a reliable professional that doesn't over charge, over explain or over complicate things then go no further...

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Customer onboarding takes place at the initial phone call. While discussing customer needs and my professional experience I can fully diagnose the situation and urgency. I treat each customer as a priority and we remain in constant communication.

    I have been in IT for well over 20 years. I have studied networking among other disciplines but most importantly, I have been in the field since I was 14 years old. I am versed in many technologies, environments, and workgroups. In addition to running my independent business parallel to my corporate experience.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    As a young child I was introduced to a RadioShack TRS80 computer and i've been hooked ever since.
