Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Regis University a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University. He is a graduate of the Los Angeles Fire Department Leadership Academy and an active volunteer board member of the William H. Parker Los Angeles Police Foundation, and Hollywood PALS. He was previously a member of the Pasadena Fire Department Emergency Medical Services Reserve unit and is a current reserve police officer. Brian’s career includes overseeing all security and fire life safety aspects of the ABC7 News building in Glendale; head of studio security and all North American properties at Sony Pictures where he was also managed antipiracy programs for pre-release films around the world, coordinated security details at red carpet events in North America and Asia Pacific regions, and managed a UL certified Global Security Operations Center monitoring fire and intrusion detection systems around the world. While at NBCUniveral he was responsible for studio security and West Coast operations and called on to support NBC news operations staffing specialized teams working in high risk situations. Following the Paris attack of Charlie Hebdo, he led a small team to assesss security and life safety programs at over 300 locations around the world resulting in over a million dollars in security improvements.
