Introduction: Hello! In case you are not able to see my pricing upfront, it is $75/hour on thumbtack. Also, please be mindful that if you contact me and then disappear and not respond (even to say thanks, but no thanks), I get charged anyway... Thank you for your understanding. I am a native Spanish speaker. I teach all levels. Grammar, "conversational", business and SAT/AP to children and adults. My hours are flexible and I make my lessons fun and productive. I've been teaching and tutoring students from Marlborough, Harvard-Westlake, Buckley, Pali High, Crossroads, Beverly Hills High, Archer, Brentwood and many other very prestigious schools for over 18 years with wonderful results. I have great success helping my students achieve their goal, improve their performance in class, have a greater understanding of the language and get much better grades. I also work with students and teachers from UCLA, USC, SMC, and other Colleges and Universities. I have the pleasure to work with doctors, nurses, producers, lawyers, businessmen/women to improve their grammar, conversation and language skills for their work, travel, and to better understand and communicate with co-workers, employees or abroad. I am offering a discounted price for people in need, or affected due to covid-19, I will help you if you need it, please let me know.

Spanish Lessons

Noelle makes studying Spanish fun for my girls. They really enjoy their time with her. She also makes the lessons relevant to them with things they like or are interested in. We are very pleased with her professionalism and the resources she uses when teaching.

Spanish Lessons

Noelle is an absolute gem of a teacher. I am on my third lesson and my expectations have already been exceeded. As a visual learner she has made it so easy to do lessons over zoom by using a textbook. Her lessons are fun and creative and I would highly recommend her for whatever you are trying to accomplish with your Spanish from being conversational to writing and grammar. Best teacher ever!!

Spanish Lessons

Noelle is a top notch Spanish professor- tutor. I was so fortunate to connect with her through thumbtack. She was extremely responsive, energetic and passionate about helping my son, who is preparing for his foreign language Masters proficiency exam. She adapts to the needs and level of each student and is really great! My son has built so much more confidence with his Spanish and she has been able to expand his abilities to converse and expand his vocabulary. She works one on one with great virtual teaching and language teaching abilities. I highly recommend Noelle!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have more than 20 years of experience teaching Spanish, and almost all of them have been from word of mouth. I am very thorough and detailed in my work and I make it fun, interesting, approachable and attainable. This is my Thumbtack fee for students in need due to Covid-19, my regular fee is much higher. This is a good deal for the work I do. If you are not someone facing hardship at this moment and can afford my regular pricing, please let me know, as I also need to be helped, while helping others who really need it.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If they're in school, I would first talk to them about what their needs are, where do they feel they're lacking a little, and focus on that. For adults students, I have them get a book I like to work with (quite inexpensive), and use my "read, write, hear, speak" method. I make my lessons fun, interesting, cultural, and I leave homework.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attended UCLA. I'm a graduate of the Civil, Medical, Criminal and Legal Interpreter and Translator Program -Spanish/English-Spanish/English. I've been teaching and tutoring children from Marlborough, Harvard-Westlake, Buckley, Pali High, Crossroads, Beverly Hills High, Archer, Brentwood and many other very prestigious schools for over 17 years with wonderful results. I've also worked with students and teachers from UCLA, USC, SMC, and other Colleges and Universities. And, I've had the pleasure to work with businessmen/women to improve their grammar, conversation and language skills for their work and for travel to better understand and communicate with co-workers, employees or abroad.
