OMG! I can't say enough good things about our organization's experience with Zen Craft Catering. This was the first time using Thumbtack to secure services and I was a little nervous. Our organization was planning a holiday party and was trying to decide what to do about feeding our 50 guests. We were considering some type of delivery or catering but wasn't sure if we could swing getting a caterer on short notice. After putting in all of our information (late on a Sunday evening) we had a reply the very next day. Once we got in touch with Zen Craft Catering, and looked at their website, we were immediately impressed with the variety of the holiday party menu. After speaking with Amy, she worked with us to put together a menu, paying attention to our needs for vegan and vegetarian options. We were able to confirm the menu and work out all of the logistics in less than one day. Amy and Chef Sauber arrived at our event right on time with everything. (I was really impressed that their executive chef showed up for our small event). They completed their food prep and set up of buffet quickly. We were ready to kick off our party without a hitch. Zen Craft Catering went above and beyond, chef Sauber even made a second trip to get vegan dressing for our salad. The food was FANTASTIC! It looked gorgeous and was very flavorful. There was the right amount for the number of guests, and even some leftovers. Our guests raved about the food (the lobster mac and cheese was a hit, and the salmon with honey and chipotle glaze also received high praise. The kale salad with mandarin oranges and cherries was also popular). They treated us like a valuable client, were warm, friendly and professional. We are excited to have found a catering that can work with us. We are a community based organization that has done events and they exceeded out expectations. We look forward to working with them on future events!

Tonya and her team were awesome. I had a Chinese themed event for 75. They offerred a great selection of entrees, and the guests all raved about the food. Tonya and her team took care of every detail - they organized the rentals, bartender, clean-up, etc. I would definitely recommend them!
Melissa created gorgeous centerpieces at a very reasonable price for our company Mardi-Gras event. And, when we could only get black tablecloths for this themed event, Melissa offered the suggestion of using overlays, which we were able to rent from her at a minimal cost. The total effect was beautiful, and we had many, many compliments on the decor of the room. And, what a stress-buster for us! Melissa handled all the details, and was very professional. When I arrived early for the event, to set-up other decorations, she had already been there to put up the centerpieces and overlays! BEST EVENT PLANNER, HANDS DOWN!!!! I hired Ingrid and her team last minute for decorations and event planning for a work party. By far, the best decision I've ever made. My wedding is in August, and I've went along and hired her for that event as well. She's proficient, efficient, and a visionary!! Her ideas are so thoughtful and personally organized! I am so impressed with her work and her expertise. She never ceased to amaze me. I got so many compliments on her flower arrangements and decorations that for so perfectly with the theme. I can't wait to see what she's got up her sleeve for my wedding in August. Also, this wasn't the first time I've hired Ingrid for an event. I hired her back in November 2015 for my MIL 50th birthday party. Her husband and herself, arrived much earlier for setup and made sure everything was the way we wanted it to look, before hey left the scene. They are so professional and such hard workers. I got a ton of compliments on their work that our family friend also hired her for her services for their wedding too! I will always refer Ingrid, without a doubt! She's my go-to person since Nov 2015.
I can't say enough about Michelle and how much she helped me with my proposal to my girlfriend (now fiancé ;) ! Michelle helped me pick a proposal spot, decorated the spot, decorated the venue for the after party, and coordinated from big to small tasks to help make everything go smoothly. I would highly recommend Michelle for anyone out there, her attention to detail is amazing, her work ethics are superb, and ability to communicate and coordinate will make any event go smoothly. I hired Ricki, my Special Event Genie, to work her magic (and dedicated hard work) on my 70th Birthday Party. Every detail was absolutely perfect. Ricki kept in touch with me by phone, text and in person meetings from the day I hired her, came to my event hours early and stayed late to manage clean up. She knew every aspect of party planning from table position and centerpieces that maintain a theme to creative displays to timelines — All of my guests enjoyed interacting with her and everyone had a good time.
A group of friends (all couples) had a Halloween party and Joanna was simply incredible. We communicated several times before the event and decided on the drinks including many she suggested which were a big hit. She dressed up for the event which was great. Her signature drinks had many of our guests drinking more than usual which was good to see. Can't wait to have her bartend another one of our events.
Omg the wedding planner and decorator sent from the Gods!! A bit dramatic for me to say, i know, but Nicole saved me! I tried to plan my own wedding, even got my mom involved and that took a turn for the worse. Nicole met with us, spoiled us with cold champagne, we talked about every detail and it she hit the ground running. It was amazing to see her level of expertise and decisiveness. So happy she could plan and decorate my wedding so magnificently ! You are an angel and I recommend Nicole and her fun team to anyone who is looking for a planner or designer. Getting Susan as our wedding day of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made. At first we were unsure about even needing someone since we had many offers of help from families and friends for the day of, and we had already booked most of our vendors by ourselves. Little did we know how many details we had not considered until we met with Susan to discuss the wedding day. She was so organized and very attentive to detail. She had an itemized list of all the wedding decorations, worked with us and our vendors to get our timeline nailed, and was in constant contact with us and making sure we were still getting our boxes checked. We had a death in the immediate family a few weeks before the wedding, and Susan went beyond her duties of day of coordinator to help us during that time, offering support and advice. We also lived about an hour away from the wedding venue and even further from her but she was always accommodating. We had our wedding at the Odyssey Restaurant and it was a very tight schedule but Susan was able to work her magic and get everything set up perfectly for the ceremony and reception (decorations, party favors, candy bar, etc) with the limited amount of time that the restaurant allowed. It was wonderful having Susan be a part of our day and if we could have, we would have chosen her as our wedding planner throughout the whole process from the beginning. We would definitely recommend Susan to our friends and family for any event planning.
Iris did so much for us to make this our best holiday event to date. It was a breeze on my part, she did all of the planning, finding the DJ and venue. We worked together on menu items, and were able to taste test in advance. The salmon was amazing, as was the tri-tip. Iris is also a truly sweet person, and I enjoyed planning this event with her very much. She was very accommodating, and delivered as promised. Thank you! Margarita was excellent! She was so easy to work with and made my vision come to life. She is creative, resourceful and just a peach. Karen is true to her company's name- a DREAM! It was such a joy to work with her, and having her calming presence around one of the most potentially stressful situations was a Godsend! We had a very unconventional ceremony and reception location, and she had incredible ideas that really saved the day- She organized and wrangled a complicated venue, all the while being so positive and calm. She is patient, structured, thorough, and just such a joy to be around! You can tell that she's seen it all, because nothing rattled her, and she had inventive solutions for every single hurdle we had: event flow, ceremony planning, venue snafus! We are so grateful and blessed to have this attentive, experienced planner coordinate our wedding, and you will be, too!!

D'vine Floral and Sweet Treats...one word AMAZING!! They created exactly what I wanted. They are organized and professional to work with. I wanted my wedding to be simple and elegant with a hint of rose gold and they achieved that. The ceremony decor is what really blew me away. Since we were getting married in technically the Los Angeles Forrest I wanted to play up the nature that was around us. My florist came up with the idea to make an arch on the tree we were getting married under. The arch came out PERFECT. It was an illusion that the beautiful pink roses were growing out of the tree. We ended up renting our sweetheart table and chairs from them which they custom made for us. The dessert bar was the hit of the party. Not only was it delicious and the guest loved snacking on the treats, it was also beautifully decorated to match my theme. The centerpieces were also gorgeous exactly what I wanted!! My bouquet was absolutely beautiful so much so I ended up drying it so I could look at it forever. Everything turned out so amazing and I could not have asked for a better team!!!
