Jon is the man. We booked a lesson for the next day and it was the best music lesson I have ever taken. He is extremely knowledgeable and an amazing player. Most importantly he knows how to explain techniques and theory in a very digestible way. Will definitely continue to work with him on all my trumpeting skills.

Gregg is an amazing musician. He is one of the best pianists in the business and is extremely knowledgeable. Everything from jazz to gospel to funk to rock- he can do it all and he does it with SOUL! He's been playing, teaching and arranging for over 40 years and he is a phenomenal teacher. Gregg is definitely someone you will want to work with when you are ready to take your musicianship to the next level. He is an expert at theory, improvisation, arranging, and composition, as well as technique and putting together a great sounding group. He was my teacher beginning in high school and throughout college, and has continued working with me and many of my colleagues ever since. Gregg Tomlinson is a musician's musician and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to advance their musical education or to anyone who is looking for a top-notch musician for a lesson or a gig- he is the finest piano player I have ever worked with!

I wanted a teacher that could work with an older adult who not had piano lessons since childhood. After many years, I wanted to challenge myself by getting back into piano and I wanted to bring music back into my life. I was a bit nervous about making the commitment and about the time investment that would be required. I also didn’t know a good teacher so I asked around. Howard’s name came up. He was recommended as a patient and knowledgeable teacher that would do wonders with students. Howard’s approach is not the conventional one that I experienced as a child. He presents many types of approaches and uses lots of tools and techniques to build your skills and understanding of the structure of music. Now, I’m stretching myself to learn, remember and apply these skills and it feels really good! I actually enjoy practicing my piano. Now thats a testimony to Howard’s influence! If you are looking for a teacher that can accommodate your needs, encourage and inspire you, meet Howard and try him out. I’m confident that you will be very pleased with him as a professional and as a teacher.

The two years that my daughter has been taking piano lessons with Elite Musique piano teacher, Kelly, has been nothing but a positive experience. My daughter's favorite aspect is preparing and performing for the company-organized open mic nights. As a parent, I have been impressed with Kelly's knowledge and professionalism, her genuine attention to my daughter's advancement in piano (and voice) skills, and the performing and testing opportunities.

Prior to meeting Steve Tyler, I had no form of musical lessons, but Steve was extremely welcoming to the world of college musicianship. He is extremely well versed in any form of trombone playing that I can think of. If you can think of a way to perform with a trombone, more likely than not, Steve has experienced it and is willing to share his knowledge with his students. Steve is very passionate about his craft and just as passionate about sharing what he knows with his students in order for them to succeed. If you're looking for a talented and understanding private instructor, then Steve's your guy.

About

My name is Benjamin Rodriguez. I am an expert music teacher specializing in teaching flute, clarinet, alto and tenor saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn (euphonium), tuba, violin, cello, piano, organ and synthesizer. I also specialize in both classical and contemporary popular music. I have been a professional music teacher since 1989 and have taught in various school districts throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties. I have been directing school bands and orchestras to superior ratings at music festivals and regional competitions. My specialty is teaching elementary school, middle school, and high school age students. I believe that learning the basic fundamentals of music, such as scales, arpeggios, and method studies are at the core of guiding my students to becoming professional musicians themselves. Many of my students have gone on to become leaders on their own musical field, musical projects, music productions and ensemble groups, not only at a teaching level but also at a performance and professional level as well.

About

The trombone is the most versatile of all musical instruments. It can sing like a violin, project the authority of an orchestra, and romp with abandon in the world of the jazz saxophone. It is pitched right in the middle of the male voice, yet it's range is unlimited. It is as easy to learn as riding a bicycle, yet the most difficult instrument to play well. No two trombone players sound the same, and your expertise on the instrument is limited only by your willingness to practice. I have been playing the trombone for forty years and will be happy to teach you the art and the craft of mastering this uniquely powerful and expressive instrument.

About

Experience! I have played the guitar professionally for over 50 years and the piano professionally for over 40 years! My passion is to spread the enjoyment of being able to play a musical instrument and all that one may gain from the ability to do so. I don't expect everyone or anyone to be a professional musician; that is entirely up to each and every individual. I just enjoy watching those who wish to be into the wonderful world of being able to create music... and anyone can be involved! There really is nothing like it!
