Introduction: Hello! My name is Alexandra and I am a yoga and ballet instructor and coach. My focus is strength, alignment, and flexibility. I have a lifetime of experience as a former professional ballet dancer, and I've brought that knowledge with me into my ballet and yoga teachings. The yoga style I have been trained in is Katonah Yoga, which is similar to Hatha and underpinned by Taoism and alignment practices in order to flush stagnation. Yoga is a practice that should support and increase your durability for life - and I have helped many clients work through injuries and pain. My favorite thing to teach is restorative yoga with hands-on adjustments. I also love teaching ballet to total beginners - it's a great workout and way to learn better posture while also having some fun and learning grace!
