I only had a trial with Rose Hill. She was very friendly and eager to be helpful but it just wasn't what I was looking for. I had scheduled a bridal hair and makeup trial in November and she didn't use the airbrush makeup but said that on the day of the wedding she would but how am I supposed to judge whether or not I want her to be my wedding hair and makeup artist if, at the trial, she doesn't do what she plans to do for the wedding? I also felt the makeup and hair style didn't match what I had sent her examples of. She did a ringlet curl pompador on my short hair when I had asked for beachy waves with a partial side braid. She also did a heavy smokey eye with dark wine lipstick when I had shown pictures of nude or light lips with golden eyeshadow. Rose arrived earlier than scheduled, which was great. I loved the work she did and she was very easy to get along with. She has a bubbly personality and I enjoyed her company as well. Just one thing could have been different, my eyebrows were somewhat darker than what should have been, but thats my fault for not speaking up. Im sure she would have made then lighter had I said something to her. But all in all, Rose was TOPS!Apr 9, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Yes, I do have a standard pricing system for Bridal and Corporate Events. If there are extra charges for out of area travel or parking I let the client know ahead of time. I do not ask for a deposit, booking is as easy as booking a hotel!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I try to make things as easy as possible for a new customer. I break things down as far as pricing. I work with timing and I put a crew together for their needs as far as large parties. I have pricing online and always willing to negotiate. I make sure I do reminders on appointment dates and I'm there to help as far as suggestions to make things an easy process for the clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm always taking classes to keep up with the latest techniques in my field. I'm a licensed Cosmetologist and Instructor.
