We are an online business, and do not have a brick and mortar store, so our web presence is the cornerstone for our sales. We have been very happy with the performance of Malibu Design. The three things that stand out to us are 1) Matt's person attention: through the design and implementation of the new site, he was always available for conference calls, in person meetings, and training. When I have any questions or changes I would like to make, I get the guy who designed my site and knows my business. 2) Malibu Design's general expertise in sales, online marketing, and the cyber world: Many times I have needed guidance for topics not directly related to the function of our website. Matt has counseled me through a variety of obstacles, from live competitors trying to copy our site, to paid online advertising, to our site's analytics and ability to convert sales. His general counsel has felt like adding an IT employee to our small company. 3) Solutions: Our company serves clients a very complex offering, with thousands of combinations of variables in our orders. Malibu design has found solutions to 99% of our offerings, and has had a solution or multiple solutions for every objective we have for our site.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All projects begin with an interview to understand the scope of the project and see if we are a good fit. After that, we have a strait forward quote, contract and schedule for deliverables. Most sites take 30 to 60 days depending on the approval time. Projects take longer when the client is less clear about the direction they have for the site.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.S. in Computer Science from Pepperdine University. MBA from UCLA. Over 10 years of development, marketing, and brand development experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
First coding class was in middle school when I basic HTML sites and a javascript computer game.
