- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I'm not sure how complicated this is but it is difficult sometimes to give an accurate price quote without speaking with the client first. My fee is usually about 10% of your budget for full wedding coordination and having more than 150 guests. My fee is 7% for day of wedding coordination which can start was early as three months before, providing you have chosen most of your vendors by that time. For other events, such as birthdays and anniversaries or holiday parties, my fee is 5% of the budget. My fees may be negotiable depending upon the time of year your event will take place. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes. Being a member of the American Bridal Association, we have conferences and classes ongoing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My mom started the business back east. I started helping her when I was still in High School. She asked me to set the tables. I learned the business from the ground up.
