Arisel did an amazing job. From the moment I have contacted him, he has been punctual, professional, and has communicated every little detail of the job with me. There has never been a point where I was left wondering what was going on with the job, and the finished product looked great. I would definitely recommend Cardenas Construction to anyone!

Ricardo methodically replaced all the parts in the tank to try and figure out the problem. In the end, determined it was the toilet itself. Did a great job. He was generous enough to try and not take money for labor but it was worth paying for all the effort. He was also happy to come in, despite the heavy rain.

Hired HP Handyman Services to repair some minor plumbing and electrical problems. The contractor was punctual, knowledgeable, and was able to make the needed repairs in less than 2 hours. Cost was $173, which seemed a little high based on the time involved, but he did provide some materials to do the work, just no itemized cost for labor and materials to determine the hurly rate. The fact that he worked on a Sunday and his professional attitude would lead me to hire this contractor again.

Albino's team helped us do the following projects: 1) Juan painted the kitchen cabinets, bathroom walls and window sills; 2) Hector installed a new shower head and tile walls over the tub; 3) Hector replaced the bathroom exhaust fan twice. (First time my husband bought the exhaust fan which I did not like, so I bought another fan and Hector changed it with additional charge for the labor.) They provided very good services and responded to our request very quick. They also completed the job according to the schedule that they promised. Hector went with my husband to purchase materials and supplies, and they spent about 3 hours shopping at Home Depot. Hector was great in installing the shower head and tiles. He stayed late to complete the job to meet the due date. He also came back to fix the problem which we found after he left. If you need a licensed plumber then you will need to find someone else. However my husband thought Hector was an experienced worker and knew what he was doing. He was impressed when he went shopping with Hector. Juan has come back a couple times to touch up the paint and adjust the cabinet door upon request. We really appreciate their patience and cooperation. Excellent attitude and services. One job on our agreement list that we did not let them do was to replace the mirrors in bathrooms. Our concerns are first they can not guarantee to keep the mirrors intact when removing the mirrors, and second they asked us to get supplies to glue or nail the mirrors. Third, we can't find the right size of mirrors . So I decided to hire the worker who specially do mirrors replacement, even the cost was higher than Albino's team. Last thing, make sure to let them know if you need invoice or not when you get the estimate.

Needed a garbage disposal replaced for my tenant. All questions were answered in a timely fashion within the Thumbtack app. Once the garbage disposal installation began, he discovered that a certain piece was not fitting correctly. He kept me updated with what needed to be done and if there were going to be any additional costs. Provided the store receipts for materials along with an invoice for labor to my email. Would definitely work with again!

I needed to replace my bathroom fan and reseal my tub. Nick had a fair enough price (not the cheapest nor most expensive bid), but he was responsive. Day of he let me know he was running late, he brings his own equipment, but he's kinda quiet and didn't really explain what he was doing or offer any options on how to fix until I asked. The work was done in his estimated amount of time and it was done well. He left the old fan in the attic though. Btw, he adds material cost at the end on top of labor.

Had D&G General Labor do a complete exterior home painting job. This included power washing, prepping, painting and clean up. Also ended up replacing 2 exterior doors that were beyond repair. Osvaldo Huerta and his crew completed the job within the quoted time period and for the agreed cost. Good communications also.

I hired Yursta Construction to refinish my kitchen cabinets and paint my wall trim and door frames. The quality of the refinished cabinetry is exceptional. You would never know that these bright grey cabinets used to be dark brown. They look brand new. The painters were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with the job. At the end of the project, one of the employees had some trouble reattaching the cabinet doors, and I had to reattach some of them properly. I spoke with Yuri about it, and he removed the labor charge for the final day. Overall, working with Yursta Construction was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend them for their professionalism and quality.

My husband and I worked with Keith to renovate 2 garden areas in front of our house. We didn’t want to break concrete, so we had the challenge of making the best of the areas we had. Keith did an amazing job! We had some idea of what we wanted, and Keith provided excellent suggestions and brought lots of great ideas to the table too. Throughout the process Keith communicated extremely well, always managing expectations around time, cost of labor and cost of materials. He was very clear about his estimations and what we should budget for different parts of the job. Keith gave us the option of coming to a local nursery with him so we could pick shrubs, flowers and trees together. His horticultural knowledge really shone though, and we ended up with a good mix of perennials for major features and annuals to provides some varied interest. Part of our project involved toning down the look of an imposing chimney at the front of the house. Keith built a custom arbor and seating area that framed the chimney perfectly. Everything now looks well-designed and thought through. We’ve since started working with Keith to address our backyard too, so it’s fair to say that we’re so happy that we’d work with him again.

Mr. Sweetin was very professional in both designing and carrying out the complete bathroom remodel that I had been imagining for years. As with any remodel of an older home, you can never truly calculate what is behind the sheetrock, but Mr. Sweetin took things in stride. Although we needed to make a few alterations to our original plan, he communicated with me in a professional manner the required changes to our plan and sought approval prior to incurring additional time, labor or expenses. These changes had minimal impact on the overall timeline of the project and made us very happy with the completed project. These alterations showed that Mr. Sweetin was not interested in just getting the job done, but that we as homeowners would take pride in his attention to detail and the quality of workmanship provided. Now we have a walk-in shower and bathroom that leaves us with plenty of room, counter space and awesome tiled cubbies. The pictures provided show before and almost upon completion. As you can tell, the difference is evident and refreshing.

Gabe was tasked with three very different projects. One a drywall and door fix that was excessive. Secondly yard work where the lawn had grown to over 3 feet with weeds and thorns, Finally a fix of a rotted bathroom floor where it needs to be retiled, grouting and sealed. All the projects were done with outstanding workmanship. Gabe is a seasoned veteran who can tackle any job and it exceedingly good at communicating both the project demands and transparent in all aspects of the materials and labor required. I highly recommend his high level of skill. Calling him simply a handyman is not inline with his passion and professionalism as he is extremely talented.

I wanted to expand my driveway by 100 square feet. I talked to a few contractors and some came out and gave a bid and others blew me off. Mario was different from the rest. He set up an appointment with me for the next day and he showed up on time. He quoted me a price which I eventually accepted. We set a date for him to do the work. He called me and said he could do it a day earlier. I said great. He completed the job in two days and it looks great. His workmanship was very good. He took out 6" of dirt, put in 1-2" of gravel and pour 4-5" of concrete. He matched the expansion joints up with the existing driveway and it looks great. I would heartily recommend Mario. From my experience I would say he is honest, trustworthy with high integrity.

Brandon was super responsive and was able to put together an estimate for work to replace the tub in my condo. He spent the time to walk me through some of the options and help me to understand what the trade-offs were going with one option or the other. After we spoke, Brandon put together a detailed estimate with a thorough breakdown of costs for parts and labor - with competitive pricing. Did I mention he did this on a Saturday? Top notch professionalism and work ethic!

If you have work in your yard that needs to be done, I'm your man. I have cleared land, dug small ponds and ditches, planted gardens (both vegetables and flowers), removed rocks from the landscape, and did many other jobs that require time and hard labor. I can also be called upon to help with the design of your yard. My prices can be negotiated and would have to be given upon seeing what is needed to be done and how far I will have to travel. I mainly work in the Elk Grove area, but I am willing to travel. Please call me.
