- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing is generally case-by-case based on the number of claims in the patent, the complexity, and of course the time spent.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can first have a brief discussion over the phone without specifics of the patent to get a detail of what type of services you're looking for to try and narrow the scope of discussions at cost. Once we have a general idea of scope, we can then get into the specifics of your idea to see if there would need to be any special considerations, we can also discuss the various degrees of services I can provide: Prior Art Search, Patent Filing, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered patent agent, with over 10 patents assigned to my previous employer. I took a first-hand role in the drafting of 3+ applications of which some were over 80 pages in length.
