Everyday I walk without limping, I have Mara to thank. Everyday I work in the garden, bending and reaching without cringing, I thank Mara for the stretching routine she skillfully designed for me. For the past six years, the range of motion in my right hip flexor has been extremely limited. At times, the pain was so severe I had a difficult time walking across the kitchen. Mara, expertly assessed the areas in my body that were compromised by my injury and designed a daily therapeutic stretching routine that I could do in my home. Because of the Yoga Therapy training Mara has given me, I have experienced a remarkable improvement weekly! "Thank You!" DZ

Mara was an excellent teacher and I felt very comfortable in her class. In each class, I received a full workout/body stretch. She was warm and made me feel welcome even though I am a beginner. I would love to take more classes with Mara.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before our first meeting I like to talk with my new customer over the phone or email to gather more information about their bodies and what their daily activities look like.After I have a clear understanding of what they need based on their info, I bring a customized sequence that will address their needs and we will practice it on our first class.Later after class I'll see how they like it and we will go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
E-YT 200+ Certification Current working on getting my 300 hours in Yoga Therapy Certification.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I fell in love with Yoga and it is so good for me that I want to share with the world!
