- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not really complicated---mainly charge depending on how many animals are to be taken care of and for the length of time....after 2 weeks I give a discount as I know for the average person 2 weeks+ can get expensive.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I read quite a few books on characteristics of certain breeds...watch "Dog Whisperer" and have also read his book. Taken first aid classes, etc.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was semi-retired about 8 years ago and really bored and since I love pets this was a very natural business to start. Also with my sales & marketing background I knew what it would take to get clients.
