Therese was an amazing influence on both of my young daughters. She helped discover and nurture their artistic abilities by giving them art lessons weekly in our home.. My oldest daughter, now age 20, is attending Otis College of Art and Design and intends to devote her life to Graphic Design. She is happy and I know her passion for art was inspired by her first art teacher, Therese! We are forever grateful!!

We attended the Studo's monthly Art Party as a date night and had SUCH a good time- the atmosphere was really fun and relaxed. I enjoyed it SO much I am now attending weekly painting lessons with Moises. I have no natural artistic talent but Moises is so nurturing and patient that I actually feel like I'm learning and getting a little better every week.

Eliseo Art Silva was my Graduate Teaching Intern for my Painting One class at the Maryland Institute College of Art while he was in our MFA Program. He really was the co-teacher of the class. He took to the job with great seriousness, energy, and insight. Eliseo's ability as an artist and as a teacher able to express complicated ideas in simple, direct ways to students were extremely impressive. His thoughtfulness, knowledge and commitment to his art and to his teaching were tremendous assets. I know that since graduation he has remained remarkably productive painting public murals all around the country. I recommend him with great enthusiasm and without reservation. Philip Koch, Professor of Drawing and Painting, Maryland Institute College of Art.

My wife and I commissioned Zimou to create two original paintings for our short film (bythewatersofleman.com). One he had to complete in 48 hours and the other in 2 months. Both exceeded our expectations and were such beautiful works of art. Seeking a very specific style and feel, Zimou not only understood what we wanted but was so in tune with the spirit of the short film he perfectly created a romantic and ageless tone without having been to the set or seen footage. He is truly dedicated and passionate about his craft. I highly recommend Zimou for any work of art.

My son took violin lessons from Alicia many years ago, but I still have a very distinct memory of who she is and what our experience with her was like. I loved her energy, I loved her teaching style and my son had such a positive experience of music lessons because of her.

Lisa is a terrific artist and a valued teacher who has won numerous awards for her work. She came to take art lessons from me. It was clear that she didn't really need lessons. When I moved away I suggested that my students go to her for lessons.

I attended Drawing and Watercolor classes taught by Nino. She was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to help me. She even gave me a very nice set of watercolor paints which she had sent to her from her home country the Republic of Georgia. I consider her a dear friend.

You may learn the basics of how to play the guitar with emphasis in exercise in both hands as well as the chords that you need to play hundreds of songs in the first class, and you'll learn Spanish, practicing with popular songs. All I need is your enthusiasm and desire to learn. I'll also teach you the basics of grammar and the most popular words and phrases, so you'll start speaking from the first lesson.

      About

Yes, you can draw a straight line! I tell my customers not to get too close to the table when they are observing the class rather than participating, that they just might get pulled in. It's fun and easy. Anyone can do this and if I had a list of all the painters who said they were actually amazed at their own ability after taking my class, it would be a mile long. I'm pleased to say there are many happy new painters who have freed their inhibitions by going for it!! Painting is like taking a vacation. It is relaxing, comforting, enjoying nature at it's best in the beautiful landscapes and seascapes. I enjoy seeing my client's faces after they complete a painting they never thought they could, and knowing that I have made someone's day through my enthusiasm and excitement over my subject.

      About

After years of being in the professional field, it is gratifying to be able to teach others the joy of creating artwork. I offer a series of lessons in all of these areas, as follows: 1. composition 2. drawing 3. acrylic 4. watercolor 5. oil I charge $48 per hour. It is best if 3 individuals share the cost between them.

      About

Besides the joy that painting gives me (it's the best relaxation there is), having the ability to teach someone else and pass the skill on gives me much more satisfaction. I am very patient, and I can see which way to lead my student very quickly. I am very good at nurturing already existing talent, and attending graphic school in Europe for three years has taught me the basics for many kinds of styles which I have practiced and experimented with for over 50 years. Whenever I am painting, I feel like I am in a different world. All my troubles and worries are gone, and I experience joy. Being able to express myself with a piece of art is very cathartic and satisfactory.
