- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed 1600 hours of cosmetology school,and have 6 years experince in makeup and hair, and 4 years experience doing Professional Face Painting.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for making people smile.When I was 8 years old I realized I could make people smile by applying my artistry skills in drawing.I would draw pictures and give them to people.By the time I was 16 I began using my face as a canvas and started doing my own makeup.People began to ask me to do theirs as well,and when I realized that I found another talent of mine that could make people smile and feel good about themselfs I couldnt help but keep practicing.After I graduated highschool in 2011, I went beautyschool and graduated not to long after in 2012.I have since then kept my passion and love for my clients.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
One of the best things in this line of work is that you never know who you're going to work with next.So far I have had the pleasure in working with but not limited to young girls who just turned 15 for their quince, to brides, women having their 50th wedding anniversaries,to young girls going to prom.With Party Faces Ive worked with toddlers, to older folks who love to enjoy themselves.
