Friends of Vision Literacy teaches reading and writing to adults in Santa Clara County. Javed approached us to help with marketing and outreach. At the time he was taking film classes and offered to help us come up with promotional videos. Javed wrote the story boards, which he then turned into scripts with feedback from us. Additionally, he was instrumental in creating two public service videos. One video featured Steve Wozniak, who is a Vision Literacy board member. The second video told the story of a former migrant who was illiterate and became successful after learning to read and write with help from Vision Literacy tutors. At Nuri Telecom, we wanted to revamp and redesign the website and its contents. Javed and his team met with me many times to identify and review the requirements. He then took time to understand the SmartGrid market and our technologies and service to help rewrite the webpages and product briefs. As in any creative endeavor we had to iterate, but the results were well worth it, and Javed is someone I would highly recommend for his marketing, content and creative skills.
