Marya's Swimming Techniques

My experience as a WSI instructor, Junior Olympian, and Triathlete trainer has given me a broad base for understanding the goals of differing swimmers, and the challenges each age and skill level endures. I love teaching adults, especially non swimmers who want to learn to swim because it is such a life changing event and skill set. I have found that teaching adults of any age is often more rewarding because they are choosing this for their own lifestyle and are motivated to learn. I enjoy teaching children, because of the pride and confidence they gain when they can accomplish something they weren't able to in the prior lesson. When they are able to float for the first time.... jump in, or cross the pool....Each exciting event makes parents and children proud.
