"I come from a place of gratitude as I write this review for Natasha Durel's Life Coaching services. The person I was before I started working with Natasha was a far cry from the confident individual, but the beginning is a great place to recount my life coaching experiences. Before I met Natasha, I was a overworked undergrad student pursuing my bachelors in political science. I was a timid and reserved student who had low self-confidence and an even lower self image of myself. I looked up to my classmates achievements rather than my own and had a pretty self-defeating inner monologue; I would say phrases to myself like I'm not smart enough, I don't have the charisma other people do, I'm boring, and I don't match up with my peers style or interests. Now speaking with enthusiasm, one of the first personal breakthroughs I had was realizing how simple it is to visualize my goals and jot them them down on a excel spreadsheet. I started by writing out small daily goals such as completing a class assignment well before it is due and finding time to chip away at projects I was working on for my internship. Then, I transitioned in making weekly goals like meeting a linkedin connection for coffee, building a facebook group that informed my community about underprivileged and how we can help them. But the personal breakthroughs didn't stop there; I learned that planning personal goals thrives with creating well detailed steps that I will take to reach my goal. The importance of keeping myself accountable was immense. I was able to keep myself accountable by setting dates and times on when I wanted to see my steps implemented. A good example would be creating my facebook group. Step 1 was to create the page, decorate it with inspirational phrases and put up images related to my cause. Step 2 was to invite like minded individuals to my facebook group so we could discuss ideas on how we want to advertise our cause, what public resources would be needed to facilitate our platform, and how can we boost our financials and time to realize our vision. Step 3 was to organize school sanctioned fundraisers to raise money and recruit more people to our cause to remedy the time constraint dilemma. Step 4 had me reach out to the councilman I was interning for and ask for a list of vendors/non-profit organizations the city uses and utilize them for our cause. Step 5 was to pitch our causes' vision to the vendors/non-profits and get them on board for a public event that would display public resources to underprivileged families. Step 6 was to rent out a public space using the connections I formed and set a date for the event. Step 7 we hosted the event with success!Where am I now? Thanks to Natasha Durel's Life Coaching services, I was able to get handle on my law school studies by implementing the organizational method I learned. There is never not enough time, I just shifted my mindset to schedule sections of the law school admission test to study, when to get with a study group, and giving time to practice self-care. With no doubt in myself, I ended up at UC Berkeley School of Law and practice organization to this day. I also utilized my step creation skills I learned to interview and receive a position with EY, one of the top tax/legal firms in the country. I'm still using this technique to handle my new role as accounts representative at EY. I am doing these impressive feats all the while practicing a empowering mindset that encourages me to grow personally and professionally. I have become my own inspiration and take my own advice before anyone else.I recommend Natasha Durel's Life Coaching to undergrad students' who unsure on how to balance their personal/career goals, overworked professionals who love their job but are in danger of burnout, professionals who would like to gain confidence and strengthen their boundaries, and anyone who has a open mind and is ready to be their best self! I know I am thanks to Natasha!"

What is a career coach?

If you’re interested in furthering your career and want expert help, a career coach is a smart solution. A career coach is a professional you hire to guide you during a job search or a career transition, or to help you improve and advance in your current position. A career coach analyzes your work situation and learns what your professional goals are. They then create a strategy to help you achieve your targets. Throughout the process they should provide objective feedback and guide you in approaching the process strategically. Here are some of the tools and tasks a career coach may assist you with:

  • Helping you build a strong resume that reflects your work history, potential, and skills
  • Coaching for interviews and strategies for solid answers built around your resume and the target job
  • Defining your career goals
  • Creating a plan for job searching
  • Improving networking strategies and skills
  • Developing strategies for negotiating raises or promotions
  • Assessing why you’re not getting where you want to go
  • Identifying new positions or career opportunities that fit your skills

What is a health coach?

A health coach is a service provider you can hire to help you realize your wellness goals. You can hire a health and wellness coach to guide you through life changes, keep you focused on weight loss or fitness goals, help boost your mental health, and more. Many health coaches work with their clients for set periods of time as the client moves toward a measurable goal. Wellness coaches come from varying backgrounds, and may have different areas of focus depending on their education and training. Research potential coaches by reading their reviews, researching their academic and personal backgrounds, and learning about any certifications they have earned from coaching institutes. Often, health and wellness coaches sell coaching packages ranging from three to six months or longer, depending on the client’s needs. The average national cost for an individual health coach session ranges from $60 to $90, although prices may range as low as $30 or up to $130 or more, depending on your location and the coach.

What is a life coach?

A professional, accredited life coach works with people to help them make important changes in their life, either growing in their profession or changing gears in their personal lives. They help clients turn their dreams or wishes into realistic, attainable goals. They guide people through the process of making life changes by helping them evaluate the steps they must take to reach a particular goal, then help them decide how — and whether — to take those steps in the most efficient, effective and rewarding way possible. A life coach acts as a motivator, strategist and accountability partner. Unlike a therapist, a life coach doesn’t help solve problems from your past — they’re focused on helping you move forward with new ways of acting and thinking that will help you reach your goals. Some people specialize in particular types of life coaching, including life balancing coaches, small business coaches, executive coaches and personal finance coaches. Some meet clients in person, while others hold consultations over the phone.

Regardless of which type of life coach you’re interested in, make sure the person holds an International Coach Federation (ICF) credential. There are three tiers of credentials: Associate, Professional and Master, which require coaching experience ranging from 100 hours to 2,500 hours.

How much does it cost to hire a career coach?

When it’s time to take your career to the next level, it’s time to hire a career coach. The cost to have a career coach help you with your professional journey will vary based on how many sessions you require, the level of coaching you desire, and the rates of the coach as determined by their experience, expertise, education and training. On average, career coaching sessions can range from 60 to 120 minutes, depending on the professional and what your needs are. Career coaches in smaller towns and areas with a lower cost of living will also typically have lower rates than those residing in large metro areas like New York, although most do offer remote coaching. Many coaches also offer a free introductory consultation, which gives you the opportunity to determine if their personality and coaching style are the right fit. It’s helpful to ask the coach about their relevant experience and get references from former clients. Depending on the professional, session rates could range anywhere from under $60 to well over $250 per session. Package discounts are a good way to commit to the relationship as well as get savings on services.
