First off let me say I was skeptical about finding a personal trainer after my last one didnt even know my name or any of my goals after training with him for six weeks. That being said, I am very happy with Tommy and the SoFit SoCal team! They are everything a trainer should be and more! Nick is my SoFit SoCal trainer but Tommy oversees all as well. I've already signed up for my next set of sessions and am really excited to continue training with Nick and Tommy. They've been so helpful and informative. Really enjoy working with Tommy! He knows what he's doing, very knowledgeable on how each muscle works. I have some old injuries.He asked how I had those injuries, only incorporated exercises that i can train the muscle pain free, and taught me some rehab exercises (exactly same exercises recommended by my physical therapist). Unlike many other personal trainers, Tommy doesn't just care about physical training, and your overall wellness as well. I worked with other trainers before, they only wanted short term result and pushed me to a limit I couldn't handle. That's how I injured myself at the beginning. With Tommy, he knows when and how to push you, and to what extent. Progressive overload? Yes, and pain free! 1. Price Before workout with Tommy, I had visited other private gyms. Due to his flexibility, I decided to go with him. Workout with a personal trainer can be costly. However, his price is reasonable. He has customized plans for me based on my goals and time. 2. Communication He is a really responsible trainer. He replies emails or text messages quickly. Moreover, he has emailed me meal plans and exercise guides accordingly. He is also really good at encouraging people. While exercising with him, he has given me a positive power to keep building muscles. 3. Goals I’m 5’11’m and my goal was to have a 160 lbs of body weight. In the beginning, I was 148 Ibs. After a few months, I am 172.8 lbs now !!! 4. Professionalism I have had hip pain. He is able to give me alternative exercises to strengthen my hip muscles and achieve my primary goals.Nov 14, 2018
I’ve been working with Tommy for more than two months now and have been really enjoying the experience. Tommy will train you hard but also take the time to get to know you which is huge in my book. While he comes with the standard knowledge of how to build a great workout plan for you, he adds to that with really specific knowledge about muscle movement, which for a analytical guy like me is gold. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Before starting any health and fitness program we go through a health screen questionnaire. This consists of a movement / postural assessment, and nutrition assessment. Next we find out your exact health and fitness goals and create a custom plan to not only reach your goals, but keep you there.

- What types of customers have you worked with?In my 13 years of training I have worked with many different individuals and age groups. This ranges from stress management, to professional athletes (Washington Redskins), to media (SHAPE Magazine), to P.E. for Elementary and Middle School kids, injured clients, and many clients looking to drop body fat and tone up.
