Bruce came to clean out shower drain line. He was prompt and courteous. He explained everything and answered all of my questions. His price was very reasonable and although he recommended additional work, it was not a "bait and switch" tactic. Even though the extra work was legitimate, there was no pressure and no raising the price of his original estimate for the clean-out. I would highly recommend Bruce as a competent and honest plumber who does not over-charge.
Unclogged a drain pipe full of roots. Was punctual, responsive and professional. Price was mid range for the service. I will call Manny again if needed.
Cleared two drains for 90 dollars.
Juan snaked out an old shower drain for us. He worked efficiently and was very good about cleanup. He kept in touch the whole time he was on the way to our house. So nice to have the shower draining!
Cesar was very professional and explained everything he was going to do. He asked before he removed pieces of hardware that were no longer viable. He changed out our kitchen faucet, cleared a drain and was able to get a hot water faucet working again after a year. I would highly recommend All In One Plumbing & Drains...they do it all.
I needed plumbing services with a clogged drain, and he came punctual and was very professional, we still have the problem but he did his best effort to help us.
I had a very old metal screen door that needed an upgrade and a doggie door that prevented my sliding door from locking. Tom helped me find a beautiful storm door to replace the screen and added a whole locking mechanism to my current dog door so i didnt have to buy a new one. He is a genius! Plus he was available right away, other services would have taken weeks.
Drain leak could not be fixed without sink replacement. Frank bought sink at Home Depot (stayed with budget) and installed with new peatrap etc. Hot water heater pressure release valve needed copper pipe extension and exit to outside. This was completed in a timely fashion. I would recommend Frank and Orlando - on time, professional and friendly.
The service was fine. I had a basic clogged bathroom tub. The guy showed up right in time and it took him about 15 minutes to fix. Cost $85 Customer service could be better. I had been messaging with Vladamir on thumbtack and he said to call to schedule. However, when I called and asked if I was speaking to him (to make sure I'm dialing the correct number) he wouldn't confirm. He just asked who was calling. I told him my name and asked again if I was speaking to Vladimir and he asked what it was about. This was kind of frustrating bc I just wanted to know I was speaking to the correct person. He called the service guy and confirmed an appt for the next morning so that was easy. But the service guy also lacked customer service skills. I told him I couldn't get the drain open and asked him to show me how for in the future. He just ignored my question and I asked 1 more time. Ignored. He also had terrible body odor and I'm assuming 8am is his first appointment of the day. I had to air my bathroom out for an hour after he left for the smell to dissipate. Again, the service was fine, good price and quick. I would just appreciate better customer service.
I can't say enough good things about Joel and Rafael. My shower drain was a mess and Rafael took care of it. Prompt, professional, courteous, and both great guys. As a matter of fact, I asked Joel about a couple of other issues I have and scheduled a return visit for next week. If you need a plumber, call Joel. The best.
As a contractor I'm particular about other contractors. I've also had a number of plumbers out to the house and have never called the same one back twice. Anthony will be the first I will call back. Super nice guy, prompt, and easy to contact. The price was also equal to or better than the other plumbers I've called. He got to the house and had the drain unclogged in no time. This is after I used my own snake, then went out and rented a 50' electric snake from Home Depot, spent hours on the drain, and finally gave up and called Anthony. I would highly recommend him for your drainage, hot water heater, most of your plumbing needs.
I hired Ocho Plumbing to entirely replace a bathroom faucet, drain a shower drain and repair the parts inside a toilet tank. Edgar was very responsive. He arrived on time. He communicated estimates and pricing ahead of doing the work. He was honest and very professional. The work he did was excellent and he cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend him!
John was not only quick to respond but he came out same day to clear out a storm drain that flooded my patio. His prices were well below other quotes and his work is guaranteed. He was very friendly and courteous. He cleared the drain and all the water on the patio within an hour. We will definitely be calling on him again.
Rob came over to fix a broken sewer line and it turned out a storm drain also needed fixing. So, we needed to renegotiate the price for the job. Turns out we did that twice, too, when we discovered it was going to less time and material to fix than originally thought. Rob understood and lowered his price because of this and I am grateful to him for that. His workmanship and material were top notch, and I'd have him back for another job in a second. Thanks, Rob!
American Castles Mike To the RESCUE!!! The water heater at my rental property burst on a Friday afternoon causing some major damage to the house. The renters were furious because their items got damaged and the house wasn't inhabitable after that. On the inside, the bathroom wall and under stairway closet were all soaking wet and drywall/carpet/padding had to be removed immediately to prevent mole build up. On the garage side where the water heater located, the entire wall was destroyed. so I called my home insurance who provided me with their preferred plumber who quoted an additional $540 out of pocket on top of what the insurance was going to cover just so he can bring up the water heater installation to code! He told me that it will take him 1+ week to order the water heater (duh...get one from Home Depot take only 1hr...which is what Mike did) and that he can install a temporary water heater and will charge $137/wk! He also referred me to a water damage restoration company which I was not too happy with either. Since it was an emergency and I went with that company. They came in and ripped out all the wet drywall without caring for any molding; especially for garage doors and closet doors! It seemed like what ever the water heater didn't damage, they did. They also broke my water heater intake shut off valve. damage the water heater over flow copper pipe. All I can say is I will not use them again! Back to the plumber, something was smelling fishy about his quote and so I called and questioned this plumber. His response was "Well, I will need to flush out the gas line and calibrate your water pressure...upgrade to the new California safety quote...put in earthquake straps...install new vent line since the new water heater nowaday don't use the old vent line!". I was not convinces so I started to Google for good local contractor and AMERICAN CASTLES (Mike Tay is the owner) came up from Thumtack along with few others from other websites. I contacted them and they came in and provided me quotes. Mike was the last one I contacted. He arrived within 30min. He checked out the damages and explained to me what needs to get done sequentially to get everything back in proper operation for my tenants. Mike is very knowledgeable and very patient in explaining things. I told him what the plumber had said, he laughed and told me the whole thing was a rip off and a scam! Another crock of bull**** and advised me against it. He told me to call my insurance company to inquire about using other plumber. Sure enough I was offered the "cash out" option which I didn't even know was available. I took that option and went with Mike for the repair. Mike knows how important it is for my tenants to get the hot water running again once the water damage restoration company completed the clean up/dry out the area (took 1 week). As soon as that company removed their equipment, Mike had his crew come in the next day (Saturday) to repair the garage dry wall and finished the installation of the new water heater and brought it up to code on safety on Sunday! He even added the water pan and installed drain pipe for me. I didn't even know such a thing exists (talk about quality...he treats it like repairing his own home!). The best part is his charge for the whole job including new water heater, earthquake straps, valve, drain pan, vent and new connection is far way less than what that plumber was going to charge me. I loved the fact he took the time to show me how things should be done up to code and what works for my situation instead of just giving a price and walking away. He did an awesome job! Unfortunately my landlord insurance's deductible was so high, I asked Mike to give me a quote for fixing the damage in the garage and inside the house. Mike's quote was very competitive and the best part is he is always willing to work with me knowing my situation (thx Mike). My bathroom paint is 16 years old so it was a challenge to match the paint for the new wall. After only quoting me for painting a small wall inside the bathroom, Mike decided on his own to paint the entire bathroom without charging for it. Now that what I call TAKING PRIDE IN YOUR WORK AND STICKING TO YOUR WORD!!! My summary is, Mike successfully completed the entire job and installation in four days. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone and will definitely be using and referring him to everyone I know.
Added one backyard drain collector and changed pressure valve. Very friendly, honest, showing knowledge of what they do. Will hire them again in case of needs. Thank you Tony and Armando.
I needed to replace my shower valve because it was old and something was leaking. Trusted Pros Plumbing and Drains replaced it and fixed my sink as well. They were on time, professional and recommended many options. I could tell they were not looking to screw me over but give me many options.
We contacted Nicolet Construction for a quote to modify an existing sidewalk area to add a drive ramp for a roll-up door to our warehouse. Not only did Giovann respond the same day to schedule a site visit, he provided a very competitive estimate for the work the next day, started demolition that same week and completed the work in 3 days with absolutely no disruption to our business. This project included breaking out about 20' of the old sidewalk (6"-8" thick), hauling away the concrete, setting forms and a new drain clean-out box, and re-pouring the sidewalk with drive ramp for our forklifts to access our fab shop. The new sidewalk looks better than what it replaced, and there was no mess left over for us to deal with. Nicolet Construction did a great job for us and we are very pleased with the results. We recommend Giovann highly.
It is so difficult for a woman to know how to find a trustworthy plumbing contractor. I was referred to Coastline Plumbing & Drains through a friend of a friend. I could not be happier with the service, timeliness and excellent pricing provided by Ruben. He is very professional, very knowledgeable and explained everything to me that he saw and was doing and recommended. His pricing is below industry standards and I now have a plumbing contractor for a life.
E&R provided us with quick, professional service when we needed our bathtub drain/laundry drain cleared. We were given good advice on how to prevent future problems. We would use this service again.
I contracted work from CJS over several years for my house. They initially helped us with creating a footing, repairing the foundation and lifting the house since there house had settled down cracking the foundation. This was our first house and we did not anything about construction, so, even thought we knew that the house had settlement issues, it was really disheartening to learn about the extent of the work. Fortunately CJS was there to help and guide us through the process of repairing and straightening the house. Their work was high quality and they even helped us with other repairs (flooring, painting, etc.) all with very reasonable pricing (and even helping us with a payment plan). About a year after the first repairs, we had to resort to CJS for help because the bath tub in the upper floor had ruptured and a lot of water came gushing down to the bottom floor. Again, CJS did a high quality work at very reasonable pricing. Helping again with other needed repairs like a new electrical panel and water drain with a sumpump. The last job that CJS performed was the relocation of a jacuzzi next to a swimming pool, fixing a barbeque and repairing the pavement in the patio. Again, great quality work and reasonable pricing. If you need experienced, trustworthy contractors that charge you reasonable prices, CJS is your contractor.
